Although Tim's tremolo pedal and Nick's guitar is missing, this kinda sounds smoother than any of the 90s performances of Prisoner. Could it be because they're not stoned out their mind anymore? :D
one of my favs. But this needed the second guitar and all the echo effects in the guitars and also the reverbish added vocals. I guess this is one of those songs only good for albums. 5/5 though :)
You guys, this song is not good at all live. "Transistor" was a phenomenal album especially the more laid back grooves like Inner light Spectrum, Use of Time, and this one. it is so depressing that 311 has followed up such an amazing album with sell outs and half assed live performances. The album version of Prisoner exceeds this obnoxious "popped up" version 100 percent.
Dude, Transistor came out in 97 it is now 2009 they've evolved since then and aren't still going to sounds like they did when they were younger. It's kind of hard to be sell outs when your band is still pretty much unknown. Calm down.

@megatonydeath This is definitely the best performance of this song on youtube. SA and Nick's vocal performances are spot on.

I wonder what music direction are they gonna take on their new album. If only they went back to the Transistor sound, my favorite 311 album ever!

Will him shaving his head make him sing better?
Perhaps you should buy a clue before you post in the future. That is the most moronic thing I have ever heard!
jedimaster128 3 years ago
no it won't and i wasn't implying that it would.
what i meant by that is that i hate how he LOOKS, not sings. i liked his look back when he had the shaved bleached hair. that was cool
