I think mos def just did a cover for the song, as it wasn't really sampled much. The song remains intact. He did the same with Liquid swordz from GZA in "Crime & Medicine", and even Biggie Small's beat "Who shot ya" in "Brooklyn". So I'm not surprised he would do this with a full song. He does though acknowledge that he is using a full song, but it kinda sucks that u guys didn't get jack. GREAt Song though!

Nope, ramiroalchemy has the lyrics correct. It's a sample from his earlier song, "Do It Now" from the "Black on Both Sides" album. Busta Rhymes has the line, "We be the most magnetic, so athletic..." Calling his flow on this song "athletic" makes perfect sense to me, by the way.

Yup...that shows how hard he goes...i played this song for a show in baltimore a few months ago...it goes through three time signature changes....Mos actually had to write his flow around the time changes....which is a lot harder than it sounds....there are only a limited amount of beats per measure and each syllable has to match up perfectly...which of course is why Mos is one of the most highly respected hip-hop artists ever

3) A minha resposta é a seguinte. A versao Casa Forte da Banda Black Rio é legal mas com pouca intensidade. Os arranjos poderiam ser mais "violentos" como na versao original e se tiver alguem cantando entao seria ainda mais legal. A versao BBR da musica Casa Forte parece me fazer compromissos. Se eles tivessem alguem cantando para eles com um arranjo "à la" Eumir Deodato seria sensacional. Pq swing esses dois braquelos do Deodato e Elis Regina tem, tinham.

1) Eu fiz um comentario sobre esta musica depois que li o comentario de um dos participantes que fala que a Banda Black Rio melhorou a musica original do Edu Lobo. Nao me lembro do comentario que fiz pois ele foi apagado (critica construtiva nao é aceita pela a Livia).
