Instead of using the tmp use the Broken Butterfly to make him com out of his hide out. Then use the Rocket launcher. p.s. Nice way to kill that chucky.

There's another nifty rocket tactic, but it takes nerves of steel... When the snake/tentacle/thingy goes in for it's instakill "I'm gonna eat you omnomnom" move, you can fire the rocket down it's throat for a true one-hit kill. Don't even need to expose Salazar.

I figured it out, the merchant leave out ammo as samples. In his mind he think that if you have the ammo you'll buy the gun to use and love his guns so much you'll return. He's a good business man.

@ashleymcl123 I played through the Gamecube version many times before I got the Wii version, and I know you're wrong. You're thinking of another game. You can only have so much ammo in one pack. You cannot combine them to make bigger packs than the limit.

Sorry to be so negative on the comments, but I have been through a few times where the game didn't combine the ammo, but on the other hand you are right about the combinations, but so is ashleymcl123 it does sometimes glitch out.

@ashleymcl123 Combining ammo is not possible since the game combines them automatically, as full as each pack can get, and uses ammo out of your smallest pack, and you can't combine health sprays with anything.

Instead of shooting in the eye to make him reveal himself, can't you just lay back and dodge his attacks until he eventually reveals himself? Then shoot him with the RPG. Idk if that works on your version but that's what I did on my PS2 version of the game.

Without the rocket launcher, it's an annoying fight because of his tentacles that grab you almost constantly. If you don't use the rocket launcher, you're probably best off using the most powerful weapon you have, like your magnum.
