@MrSeekLoad I agree with you that to say dark is (entirely) evil is wrong. I think evil is perhaps dark, but there is also a darkness that ISN'T evil, but mysterious. And that's the type of dark goths are drawn to, not the evil side of it. Not everyone realizes the difference between the mysterious dark and the evil dark, and that's how goths get judged as bad people :(

@VJWU Short answer: YES love everyone, but NO don't allow people to treat you like a fool or be a part of their blaspheme.
It also says be harmless as doves and wise as snakes. That pastor was compromising his values and being made to look like a fool. AND since you mentioned judging: what the bible actually says is what ever measure you judge it will be given back to you. In corinthians Paul tells the church they are to judge those within the church because one day they will judge angles.

@VJWU At the final judgement every person and spirit will stand before God. "Angles" i.e. fallen angles/ demons will be judged by humanity because they rejected the God after being in his presence and the righteous accepted him by faith (without being in his presence like the angles).
The point is there is a difference between judging and being judgmental. Christians must judge themselves and distinguish btw right and wrong. However, judgment should not result in pride or self righteousness

This was not funny it was insulting. There is no such thing as a Goth that was rejected by other Goths. Goths are accepting of all people, but can be rude to those who are rude to them. Most are rude to Goths without realiseing that they are being rude, and can't see that their additude is just being mirrored.

@whoreasphyxia6661 [2/2] BUT satanist have taken the symbol and turned it upside down to symbolize that they aim to defy the way things are set to be (much like how they turned a cross upside down to symbolize rebellion against christianity) the symbol is still just the symbol, but you can take it however you mean, though a goth would most likely be using it in a good way seeing how goth originated from the catholic religion which is part of christianity...

@Inoryuki and what they didnt realize in turning the cross upside down is it was already a christian symbol when the apostle peter died he was crucified "upside down" to symbolize he was not worthy to die in the manner of his lord so it can really be interpreted as us not being worthy of asll jesus is worthy of so when trying to seperate themselves they are really falsifying it instead of seperating themselves from religion they are adopting from all of them

@whoreasphyxia6661 I believe that goth does somewhat contradict christianity in the way that goth is all about dark beauty and God clearly tells us that he is light and that light is beauty. Not to say that dark things cannot be expressed, as not all things in this world are good, but to centre your entire wardrobe, music, and decor on darkness seems a bit against what God says.

Christians aren't just people with a title (at least not the real ones), but yet they're people who believe Jesus died for their sins, and so they turn away from their sin to show that Jesus' death was not in vain, but that God does change lives. in this change, i believe people turn away from sinful things, and embrace good things. in light of this, how are goths able to be christians, and what's with the 666 in your name?

@faerielyght [1/2] do you even know what a pentacle means? guess not... its points are symbolic of the elements, the circle is them working together in perfect harmony as was set in to motion by the creator. Though at one point an upside down pentacle was used by christians to symbolize the bethlehem star pointing down to jesus and the five points symbolizing jesus' five (well it was either major miracles, or wounds or something) BUT...(next comment)
