I think the plot could have been more clear. I was worried that when the car stopped she was going to get in...if you can infer from that what I mean...maybe a little sign saying "Cards for Sale" or something...and then the whole thing about the star...why was she in the middle of the road when she stopped day dreaming? She didn't actually walk anywhere. Despite clear resemblances to The Littel Match Girl, it's quite true that this little girl's portrayed compassionless circumstance exists.

as i rem. the story "The Little Match Girl", she died on xmas day, she died hungry&cold. Although, being in a sad state of living on the street, with little money and no food, she kept herself warm with warm thoughts of fireplace, food, shelter and love -her mom's love .Mom was gone long ago&told the LMG that she will not leave her and will watch over her -that mom was one of the stars watching over her. ending deviated coz its harder to portray than instantly kill her by getting ran-over

Remaking a classical story of Hans Christian Anderson is by no means a ripoff. Everybody has a right to tell and re-tell a story.

And just because a big, well trained group of 3D artist managed to make it look a bit better

using expansive software and a great 3D Renderer (RenderMan). Does not mean that a school project by a couple of very talented artist is a ripoff or in anyway inferior.

It is a great film. And at least girl did not freeze to death.

Hola Alejandro. Me encanta todo lo que tiene que ver con la animación y tu corto me ha parecido estupendo. Por un lado la belleza que podemos llegar a sentir, aún viviendo en unas condiciones de extrema dureza. Por otro lado, a pesar de que puedas tener los mejores sentimientos la vida podrá jugarte una mala pasada.
