Ben, I noticed one thing: in the drum fill, after playing: FLOOR TOM - TOM - FLOOR TOM - BASS DRUM - SNARE, the correct way to play is: FLOOR TOM - TOM - FLOOR TOM - FLOOR TOM - FLOOR TOMS - BASS DRUM - SNARE, and not like you (TOM - TOM - FLOOR TOM - FLOOR TOM - FLOOR TOM - BASS DRUM - SNARE). am I wrong?

Great lesson! But I noticed that on the tom fill when it gets to the hi-hat bit, Dom plays the ribbon crasher with his right hand so it sounds a bit like a double open hi-hat (which could be an alternative if you don't have a ribbon crasher)

just one thing i've noticed is that in the beginning, the high hat accent is on the UP beat, not the down beat. its tricky and it seems like people leave it out alot.

@Sanroxem lol i know what you mean. Dont worry and keep practicing. All good drummers have had years of it. I use to struggle with this but now i can play it with my eyes closed because i practiced all the time. Keep it up and keep drumming, you will eventually get it. :D

Section 6 should use the floor and tom and snare just before the hi-hat, and try using both the ribbon and hihat separately, instead of just the hi-hat.. It can be seen perfectly here at 4:16.

dom does do eigths on the crash in the chorus yo. but not every stroke is an accent like you briefly show.

The part in the song Demonstration , when your on the toms and catching the open hi hat... your supposed to actually catch the ribbon crasher and then the hi hat right after it.. to make it sound like one full catch .. but its actually two!!

Fantastic job! It's an absolutely perfect tutorial. Just the right amount of time spent on each section and all the different camera angles really help. It's all too easy to be a great drummer (well, not that easy :P) and then be rubbish at conveying what you do to other people but you have talent at both! Thumbs up!!!!!
