It's not a forbidden love.. The thing underwater ( lets call it a mermaid for now ) lures someone to kiss them. The person who kissed the mermaid becomes a mermaid, while the previous mermaid is set free and becomes human again. But the person who kissed the mermaid in the first place has to lure someone else to kiss them. Confusing, huh? LOL.
