I was there that day, too! I remember all of us campaigning out in front of the convention center with our homemade signs,just thrilled that we outnumbered Hillary's supporters 3-1.(sort of David vs. Goliath-ish!) And THEN Obama's aide came out front to tell us that the senator wanted to personally thank US for our support! She led us to the back of the hall where he came out (right before taking the stage 4 a speech none of us had access to hear)& shook hands & stole hearts! SO PROUD OF HIM!

Sen. McCain's campaign knows that they are on the wrong side of the issues and of history. So, the only way he thinks he can win is by using distractions and scare tactics; distortions, lies, and manipulations; and, these self-serving stunts like "suspending" his campaign and injecting his Presidential campaign into the emergency negotiations of the solution to the economic meltdown.

We should demand more debates as they are needed .I don't care who supports who!My congress woman Sheila Lee Jackson,someone I admire supports Hillary, so , we still need more substance not a pep rally so we do not get fooled again .
