I went to Scotland last year. It was freezing and rained non-stop. The only food was haggis, deep fried Mars Bars and shortbread & everyone is fat. All the men are transvestites & the women look like men. I couldn't understand a word anyone said & everyone had false teeth. Most of Scotland is sparsely habited due to the midge plague. Most children have MS due to the appalling weather & the oldest person is 50-years-old. I couldn't sleep due to the 24-hour-a-day bagpipe playing. Avoid.

Beautiful city, beautifully captured. As a Kiwi who lived there for 2 years it made me very second-homesick. I'm sure people will say it's grey and dour, but if they do... they will never 'get' Edinburgh. Looks like you got it. Well done.
Ah, Scotland's capital. Aren't we lucky to have such a beautiful city to the east, and then, to the west, Glasgow, where you don't have to take your shoes off at the door.

lol where i live we're usually over 90 or 100°F during summer, no kidding, but i'd wish sometimes to have Scotland's weather ;P
