yea true Scbuababe20 but there are good wreck discovery/dive accident videos and stories on the net too. My favourite site is the myscubastory site. They have tonnes of real life dive stories and videos. Type myscubastory into google and its the first result
martha's B&B - a functional concrete house, nice, clean rooms, friendly owners and staff. picknick center, a few meters north, gives a more traditional impression, the restaurant was the best i found. but they enjoyed giving your ears a blast with either reggae or country&western music - sometimes made it difficult to keep up a conversation at the very same table. rooms were described to be ok. closer to the village a new hotel under construction, might be the most comfortable now. no nightlife!
theres a hotel like 10 minutes away from the airport wich consists in villas... it has the beach in front some town guys plying sports always, reggae all day long, a bar and restaurant o and you should really take your snorkel and a underwater cam cause there are many things in the beach like sunk ships or sea stars, etc etc, really cool place fully recommend it
nooo my friend believe when that island is trshed by tourism half of the world will be living in mars... it is a really relaxing place and you just go and enjoy it

What beach is this? Is there a B&B or hotel here?

it is the south west beach of corn island, directly in front of "martha's bed and breakfast". there are two more hotels on this beach now.

that information dates from february 2005 - might be a bit outdated now.
the beach is protected from the sometimes huge carribbean surf, and unlike other island beaches, as clean as you see it here.
tourism is by far not as developed as in san andres or similar destinations - including as well good as well bad side effects.

This is Big Corn Island in Nicaragua. There are plenty of B&B and a couple of hotels as well. Little Corn Island is awesome for snorkeling

Thanks to all for your input. I hope I haven't waited too long to go. (Before it gets trashed by more tourism.)
