  • I have the same iTouch and my invisibleshield began to come apart at the corners, ZAGG should have done a better design so the shield, I applied it correctly (I have thier product on my HTC HD2 phone & iPod 5th Gen working properly) so I know I did it right, but because the shield over laps the black trim around the edges it looses it's grip more easily & at the end it looks horrible. So thumbs down on this design. I was mad & forgot to take pictures to show the flawed design on this shield.

  • easy my ass damn things hard to put on!

  • Looks easy as fuck, ordered it today, hopefully it will be.

  • Niggas make it look easy

  • Can you use a case with this would anything happen if I did use a case with the invisible shield

  • i found if you dip in warm water it installs very easy

  • doesn't the solution get inside the ipod?

  • lol ask the geek squad at best buy to do it for free and so they will do it good

  • this shit sucks DICK.. wasted 30 bucks

  • @dwtnigg i used it on my iphone and it works perfect not a single bubble on it.

  • @bumblebeeetuna but the ones made for iphone/ipods are small and are made out of a different plastic which makes it alot easier.. i had one for my ipod touch and it was great.. ipads version SUCKS

  • @dwtnigg yeh i guess. it was a pain to get all the bubles out and i spose it would be a bitch on a bigger device

  • @bumblebeeetuna oh let me tell you it was. to install that on a macbook 15inch, bubbbles everywhere. my ocd was going crazy.

  • I just bought my ipod touch, right after I open it I follow the video instruction and now looks ok.

Unfortunately, my sister follow the paper instruction and failed.

    Consider about the percentage,

I suggest everyone who already bought this should watch this video carefully,

whom not buy this stuff yet should really consider about do you have courage to face a failed screen everyday.

  • This is better then every screen procter out they yes it's hard but not that hard is kinda easy after the 2 try people how don't know how to put this one are stupid

  • In video installion process everything looks so easy and fast...but when you try yourself to do it...Its horrible!! Plz, dont buy that...

  • I just bought one of these shields but after watching this video and reading these comments I am certainly not going to be putting it on my iPod!

  • were did you get one??????????????????????

  • @fictionalize y it works amazing, its just retards that dont know how to put it on or got impatient

  • Don't Buy! Horrible instillation proccess. Was stupid of me to trust this product in the first place.

  • I will never buy from this product again! They have you put liquid on and near you open ports. My iPod's Mic does no longer work because of this stupid product. Don't Buy!

  • @PeepSquad04 you spray it on the skin...not the device.

  • @jerk487 nah it shouldn't. If it does by some weird chance, don't plug it in.

Put it in rice, no i'm not kidding

  • is a invisable one or a mirror screen protector better?

  • I am amazed. I have seen people not be able to cut this thing witht a knife...and I cut it with a pair of scissors.

  • @jerk487 It will blow up causing a nuke and wiping out the human race causing technology to rise and take over the earth like in terminator. j/k just don't use it for a little bit

  • Who noticed he didn't use the spray bottle from the packaging

  • what about the button

  • when is the shield for ipod touch 4g comming out???

  • @knexfan0011 it has came out, i just ordered it online

  • @knexfan0011 its out now i think

  • The moisture cannot damage the device unless you turn it on right after installation. "Wait 24 hrs"

  • Lol, I would rather drop my iPad in my toilet...

  • This cost $14.99 for the front piece only and $24.99 for both pieces.

    Extremely durable though military grade.

    Its almost literally scratch proof.

I like the liquid apply though if you screw up you can try again.

    Great product.

4.5/5 stars due to expensive pricing but product is 10x better than others.

  • you do realise it's just suran wrap right?

  • @CheatShop Its actually polyurethene plastic

  • I ordered one of these and the solution came in a cruddy little tray. Not a spray bottle. It sucked.

  • Now just make a condom

  • my friend took his shield off.. o_o is that okay? o_o

  • I'm not lyin', I'm going to Best Buy now to buy one. =)

  • How much does it cost?

  • It is easy and very easy if you ever had to tint your car windows on your own.

BTW buy a roll of clear protective tint cut in to shapes and do for your neighbours twice cheaper "Invisible shield" and still make money! :D

  • Its actrally hard to put it on.

  • This video makes it look super easy...my friend said he had a hell of a time and ended up not even using it. I suppose since its going to be so hard to do, thats why they offer "lifetime replacements" which im assuming is as hard to get those as it is to install. At first I thought the price was high, but that whole "spray" thing is turning me away from this product 100%. Never would I put anything wet on my ipod touch. I guess ill just get a silicone case and a regular screen protector.

  • doesn't your itouch looks kidna weird?

  • @iTouchOfMine its the first gen

  • @iTouchOfMine

    What the fuck is iTouch?

    It's called iPod Touch asswipe!

  • This hand model got a job with a wrist tattoo....... Shweet

  • i got this got home about 20 minutes ago and the spay does not work i had to tear the thing off because it wouldn't go on right and when i whent to try again the damn thing stuck to itself and wouldn't come apart so i threw the thing away because iwouldn't beable to return it at this point.

    i hate invisible shield.

  • @MartianMafia you have a lifetime warranty

  • @yscreth55 well yes i'm just mad at the moment

  • the warranty does not cover installation damages

  • @babyyoyoboy just scratch it a lttle bit and u get a new one

  • what does it cost

  • does this fit perfectly on the ipod touch 3G?

  • I have this for my iPod Touch 2G and it actually works.

The screen protector were easy to install but the backpart were harder to install becuse you have to place it so it don´t block any buttons, dockconnector or headphone port.

I can´t spot any bubbles at all on either sides, but it don´t hide scratches as they claim.

  • can you remove it ??

  • yes

  • @NEEDCARS doesn't affect the device

  • @NEEDCARS No duh, Einstein. Although that "moisture" is a nonconductor, and non-corrosive. It won't get into your iPod as it's rain proof anyways (to a certain extent) and you're not just dunking the device into a bucket of water.

  • @TheVerandaguy But i still dont want to risk my 200 $ ipod

  • @NEEDCARS Well then don't. There's no risk. I had an InvisibleShield first on my 4th gen Nano, and now on my 3rd Gen touch and my iPad. Almost all of the liquid was absorbed by the adhesive-porous side of the Shield, and everything that leaked out did nothing to my iPod, and it's been 6 months now.

  • @TheVerandaguy Yeah I did it with my cell phone, and plan to also use it for my iPod touch I'll be purchasing this week, I really like the fact that if your device needs to be replaced, or you just bought a new one, or the shield gets damaged, you can order one for just the price of shipping

  • Yah, i am a bit concerned that when using the squeegie, it will force water into the seams along the display/case boarder. Unless the spray is composed of %91 or so isopropyl alcohol then it should be fine.

  • can u remove it without markings?

  • bought it...pice of shit couldent wihtstand a .45 slug

  • crap

  • a helpful tip of mine (i tried it yesterday while i was packing food with film)

after placing your backshield and having problems to push the endings against the edges of your iPod without sliding to the wrong position, you should wrap around film what is normaly used for conserving food!

just make sure, that the film wraped as close as possible around evrey edge! that fixes the invisibleshield perfect.... the result is quite awsome! no upstanding edges anywhere. TRY IST and u will agree :)

  • a BITCH to put on.

Currently waiting in the 24 hour drying period.

Not that impressed yet. I admit i may have stuffed up the install a bit, but mine wasn't cut out properly and stuck to the backing so I had to get scissors to cut the bit off.

  • dissapointed with mine i applied it properly and it feels jank it just seems like it works for some people but not to my liking the button feels terribly stiff after applying and the screen feels horribly :(

  • I got it on mine. The back is hard to do, but if you live in NORTH EPPING in sydney i can do it for you. It's trickky but with patience it can be done simply.

  • Wrap it with plastic food wrap

  • r u crazy?!

  • OMFG This thing is HELL to install, I just finished installing mine, I finally got it to where I could put it in my rubber case to hold it down, I hope it works

  • this IS the best product for any technology things altough Zagg should put more quantity of liquid in the spray because i kept failing and i used up nearly all the solution it had provided me with oh yeah and happy new year Zagg and everyone else!!

  • the installation sucks! it never fits perfectly at all corners

  • what I did is wrap the corners in Saran Wrap..it held the corners down perfectly..but, of course, I have the 3rd Generation

  • I don't know how that should hold down the corners, but if it worked for you...

I figured out that you should let the ipod dry for about 15min and then the shield won't get out of place and you can fix the corners quite ok with the palming technique...

  • i know!

  • the corners got so annoying for me so i put it into a tight rubber case i had and it fixed the problem

  • can you put it over a skin?

  • @djc6883 Not a good idea

  • i wouldn't

  • the spray looks sketchey

  • you saved my life thanks

  • does all the spray and wipe and everything in this video come with the invisible shield

  • yes

  • on the back how do you tell if you placed it on the right spot

  • i got this for my ipod touch 2G and its impossible to put the back on took me an hour to do this so i just cut the back into a rectangle u can get these at best buy 20 buck i think

  • warning this isnt for dicks who rip products because of their own ineptitude or people without do it yourself skills.

  • stupid

  • Does anyone know whether the orange peel effect disappears after a few days, or if it's always there?

I'd rather have a scratched iPod than one with a orange peel film on it.

  • it keeps the orange peel effect, and it's a little different at first, but it actually does grow on you as you get used to it.

  • This is my only complaint for it. Do all the other screen protectors give an "orange peel" effect?

  • nope, it's just a personal preference thing. I prefer the Zagg shield because i know it works and works well. Actually just got one for my new Droid yesterday, Seems the orange peel effect isn't near as bad as it used to be, but still there a little bit I suppose.

  • where acn i get this?

  • FUCK HAIRS

  • omg you can wet your ipod... didnt know that i though that spary was a clener for shields

  • u make it like its so easy to put on i know people who took from 30 to 60 minutes

  • Hey will it take out some of the cratches on the back of my itouch 2g

  • i don't think it will be able to "take out" scratches but it will prevent future ones

  • you could fill the scratches using the disk scratch removal method with toothepaste. it works fine. the njust try to apply it, it should give a 'clean' look

  • it won't take it out but it will hide it, look up a video in Invisble shields channel showing that it hides major scratches

  • haha they did this FOR me at bestbuy.. but not the backside cause they said it was way too hard on th 2g. lol

  • i got it. the stuff is nothing like this. instead of a squegee they gave me a card and instead of the spray they gave me a sponge with the soulution in it. it was so hard!

  • its was not this east but it was easy and i have had mine for a month and it still doesnt have a scratch on it

  • it lookes very easy

  • can i reuse this after i take it off of my ipod touch

  • these suck! the spray gave me blisters

  • lol :O the Zagg package comes with a free invisible shield chapstick?

  • no. this was such a pain in the ass to put on! i had to remove the back like eight times!

  • I'm getting it installed for free, and the shield is free for me too =)

  • i put the invisible shield in my ipod touch right now!

And i can see that is VER EASY TO APPLICATE IT! :)

    THANK YOU ZAGG!! ^_^

  • It was frustrating to put on. I thought it would be easy, though.

  • Its Harder Than it Looks

  • These things suck ass, all it does is fold over itself, and attract six hundred pounds of dust.

  • I'm thinking about buying another invisible shield to retry my installtion on my itouch..it came out shitty..lol

  • does the cloth that comes with the ipod touch litn free?

  • lol kool i got mine today AND I HAD TO WAIT OVER A FREAKIN MONTH to get it and mine came with a shield spray bottle like twice the size of this one

  • I feel like I got screwed out of my money all I got with m y box is a sponge and a credit card as a squeegee I mean what the fuck is that shit about

  • yeah i just got this shit from best buy and thats what i got also, fuck that!

  • Should i get one??

  • hell no! these things suck. theyre just a total mess!

  • what the fuck i did not get a lint free colth or what ever

  • it doesn't come with one

  • does the shield turn yellow after a year

  • what is that thing called at 0:23

  • its called a squeegee(spl?)

  • thanks for telling!

  • does this film protect your ipod if it fell, as a case would????

  • yes it is made from the same stuff the military uses

  • as of scratches yes but for shock protection im not sure

  • he makes it look so easy its actually really hard

  • that thing work or not work i need to know for buying it someone say me

  • it works really good.

  • work realy good , i'm braziliam and i imported one , it's perfect

  • you can use the black cloth that comes with the ipod as the ''lint free cloth'' right?

  • I used this before on an mp3 player years ago and it's *still* on there. The player itself is beat up, but the screen and buttons where the shield is, are still perfect...

Easiest way to do this if you're worried about dust getting onto the shield before you install it, is run the hot water in the bathroom to steam it up, and set up the kit in there. This also helps keep your fingers wet, which, believe me, helps.

  • Lol I would never put that kind of plastic stuff on my ipod touch with some freakin glue!! I have a hard plastic cover on it and nothing on top of the screen (Highly recommended)

  • but the point is it doesnt scratch. hard plastic can scratch easily. i have an iclear hard plastic case on my iphone 3g and its scratched bad

  • Well mine doesn't have any scratches because I dont freakin keep it in the same pocket as my keys -_-*

  • me either.. im 13 years old i dont drive i dont have keys.. it still scratches by normal wear. but still, why do these guys keep their ipods and their keys in the same pocket

  • lol.. 13 year olds with a touch... Geez..

  • lol... 13 years old with a hard plastic case...geez.

  • hehe :D

  • lol.... idiots comenting about 13 year olds...geez...

  • Lol im 12 and i have a touch...

  • sooo...

  • Lol im 12 and i dont care

  • 13 year old with no house keys..really?

  • the spray isnt glue smartass.

  • i pretty much destroyed my ipod touch trying to put this thing on. i will definately not be buying form invisishield again.

  • How?

  • Proof with video or bullshit.

  • The palming technique is awesome

Honestly I use it almost everyday

  • ¤ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨ post to 3 other vids

    ¨°º¤ø„¸ Copy „ø¤º°¨ press F5 twice

    ¸„ø¤º°¨Paste ``°º¤ø„¸ OK

    ¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º look at ur backgroud

  • lol i forgot to take out the homebutton so the ring around it is still on it O_O

  • After installing the InvisibleSHIELD put it in a silicon case.

it helps so you don't have to use the "palming technique"

  • haha... Palming technique

  • hi i just got my invisible shield and couldnt get the sides to stay were i puted it.. it just got up again :D now i used alot of tape and i will see what happend tomorrow

  • all this product is is a cut sheet of ohp paper... nothing special. just get some of that and stick it on.

  • no the invisible shield can not break if u drop a bowling ball on it from 10 meters

  • if the streaks dont get out can u take the shield off later? like in a week or two and still reuse it?

  • and wat kind of cloth should i use? can i use any cloth as long as there is no lint?

  • like a microfiber

  • i have one and it is the best thing i have seen ever

  • do not buy waste of money
