I wouldn't be surprise if there was a comic where Captain America in his time traveling adventures comes to the stone age where he meets up with Bruce Wayne and they talk about their life and death of how they got to were they are now. Hell their would even be a caveman Joker and a Neanderthal Red Skull as the antagonist to further the campyness.
Great review! I've pretty much wiped my hands of this series. Maybe #6 will redeem it overall, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't know what Ed's thinking was when writing this but of all the directions he could have gone with bringing Cap back, this path has hardly been the best.
HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE GREAT AND AWESOME MODOK! ;) Love your reviews - you make me sooo glad I stopped getting this title. Marvel's just getting so whorish with their ridiculous money-grabs. Keep up the great reviews!
Slammy Award worthy! I liked the art and the whole Jeph Loeb style of story but over all just not happy with this series.Plus some other Marvel comics have kinda ruined the outcome of this series.
Nice radiator. ;-)

Yeah the lyrics about death rays and coming back seemed appropriate for both Red Skull and Cap.

I hate it when companies get you to buy a series and then rope you to buy in another comic book or a few that ties into it.

I like MODOK, but he's kind of been used as a joke in most comics in the recent past, so it was odd to see him in Cap.
I'm looking forward to Cap Reborn being over, but I HAVE to read it. Damn Marvel.
