@rodrik Actually you can hear it here if you listen closely to the very end of this video after Rick (the drummer) yells "1 2 3". The Lawrence crowd in attendance was all that familiar with the chant, but by the third time Rick yell "1 2 3" you can hear it from a few knowledgeable souls.
Looks like you were directing traffic a little bit there near the end Ron. Great version of Crossroads. I love the real Hammond there instead of some newer board with samples! Must be a bitch to cart around though!
@rickyon I just told Jimmy to sing the last verse again so we could end the song. We hadn't rehearsed this with everyone, so we were flying by the seat of our pants.
Congrats to Jeff, Jimmy, Rick, Rich and Steve for finally seeing some success from all the years of hard work. They were the best in Kansas City for many years.
@dhamp1024 - The players on this song are Doug Renbarger (organ), Jeff Frost (keyboards), Jimmy Bond (vocals), Owen Evans (guitar), Rick Aubrey (drums), Ron Hall (bass), & Steve Gibson (guitar). I don't know where you're getting the name Rich from.
Plain Jane was my favorite band back in the 80's and early 90's. It was a great pleasure working for them any chance I could. Great guys. Incredibly talented along with the Crayons. Is it any wonder they went on to form Liverpool as the Beatles?
I heard the band mention that Ray and Eric Stein couldn't be there. Could anyone tell me where Raphael is and what he is doing. I'd like to get back in touch with him. . . Been a long time.
ha ha aweasome! would have loved to have been there

Is there a video of them singing "fu(k you plain jane"? They ended the shows at one block west with it many times.

@tinman3012 Type on Ron (sorry about that.) By the time I started working with them Ron was no longer with them.
