iPhone 3G & 3GS White or Black ?

i got the white and my bro got black. Both are totally awesome but I heaps more prefer white! Had it for a few months now and its rock solid plus no dis-colouration :)

I have had a White 3gs since it came out and the back looks as good as new I have a case on it at the min but only had it on for about a week, anyone thinking of getting and iPhone you can't go wrong with which colour you get each to they own lol but I think the White one is that bit different and will look cool, fashion aside I have seen hundreds of iPhones in black and all most all of them unless new have marks and start to look dull.

I would go with the white. It still looks nice and you cant see the smudges or the scratches so much.

order an ideal case i just got the black one use the circle series case its awesome you cant get scratches or smudges on it! if you dont like the case get invisishield its awesome you can never really tell the difference from white or black the shield makes it shiny!!

Unfortunatly as old one was damaged, Apple gave to me a new iPhone 3G (not 3GS) for the damaged one.

So I cannot give you a prompt reply, but I didn't notice if white one have turned yellow or not. I'm going to ask to someone about your question later. :)

Or...is there anyone else who can answer Rbmrn's question?

Sorry too late, Rbmrm. Today a friend of mine has got 3GS and checked about it. His old iPhone white doesn't tune yellow, even after 1-year. :)

i went to AT&T few weeks ago. they have no more 8GB stocks until the end of thanxgiving. until i heard rumors saying they're phasing out the 8gb and replace it with a 32gb, it'll be out probably in dec 2008 to jan 2009. so whoever is planning to get one, just wait. :D

Its quite a hard decision actually.. Black or white? For me it isnt really that difficult, really. Im getting the 8Gbs one so no option there. But Im trying to know if Id really rather it in white, if I had the choice that is.

Black looks sleek and matches the phone. But white looks different, given that more 8g will sell more, white will be less seen, but then the white looks more girlie to me so Id go back to the black one. Hm.. decisions decisions, pointless really, its just a damn phone!

im planning on getting an iPhone, however i have some questions. and u i think u could help cuz u live in jpn, anyways does SMS or email work by sending text messages to other companies for (example) docomo. for example if i mailed my friend using sms or email and he had docomo or au or softbank would he recieve it as a text message. and my second question is does sms or email need a wifi connection or does it use sattelite like most cells. hope u can help :D

I'm trying to send SMS to friends who use Docomo or au though, it doesn't work with send error message. But we can exchange text message by email.

NETWORK CONNECTION:

We need the network connection [wifi, 3G or EDGE(?)] to use SMS or email. I always use 3G.

I don't know well about iPhone yet though, I hope this helps. :)

3G (or EDGE) is one of the wireless communication standards used by cell-phone like iPhone 3G. I think that it's vary by region though, almost the area in Tokyo is covered, and we can browse and mail here when also we walking down the street. Of course we can enjoy using Wi-Fi connection like MacDonald, Apple Store or so on.
