Rosemary Harris looks perfect for this character. In the original comic Aunt May is an old woman and in fact she looks much more fragile in the original comics than in the movie. Such a great actress for this role whose old age is representative of the wisdom that guides Peter's conscience :)
Nothing against Rosemary Harris, but I wish they chose a younger actress to play Aunt May. I don't like the fact that the comics, movies and 90's show had May be some old granny. If she's Peter's Aunt, she should be around his mother's age. In Ultimate Spiderman and the new cartoon, she's much younger and it's just seems more realistic since she should be around 40-50 instead of 60-80.
Yes that's what I admire about the character, she always has the right thing to say. That scene was so touching, she should have won an Oscar just for that scene...
