This is the song Pluto plays to itself as it plots its return as a planet on the fringes of the galaxy. One day it will come back swinging, punching other planets in the face with its tiny, crusty, frozen planet arms screaming bloody rage and destroying everything in its path. Only then will we truly understand how amazingly heavy and amazing this song is.
Does anyone else agree that Pelican and Isis have some amazing similar qualities in their music...especially the progressions...Yet , both are very different and extraordinarily unique despite the similarities. Gotta <3 em both!!!!!!!!!!
The last minute of this song is fucking awesome, and it builds up to it really well. I bought Pelican's most recent album on a friend's recommendation and enjoyed it; but this early stuff is sludgier, heavier and more to my taste. I wish more progressive stuff had this much bite.

@creedlinkinfan ...umm...for me would be better simply like "Sublime music" i don't understand why everybody want to categorize all what we hear...even good musicians hate this. Enjoy and feel music
is first time that i listen to some song of this group, it's great ! :)

This song would be dead sick as an orchestra arrangement.
odallard 1 year ago 31
@odallard Actucally, it would be pretty boring...
GrandMaster2350 1 year ago
@odallard Or WITH one alongside it. I swear, that's how I started hearing it after I read orchestra arrangement.
