It's nonsensical to compare Sakamoto's music with Akiko's and to make a statement such as which musician surpasses the other. They are completely different in their musical styles and directions. The only thing they have in common is they both are pianists/keyboardists. It's like comparing Debussy with Miles Davis and say which is the "better" of the two.

She is Akiko Yano, a Japanese singer-songwriter.She is generally considerd a pop musician, but the influence from jazz is apparent. I like her because of its spontaneity.
As for DVD, I think its available in Japan, but not outside Japan.
