@jimomaru its not like theres an input for dark wesker, but if his glasses come off, he becomes faster (as if having lvl 1 x factor) that combined with lvl 3 x factor gives you somthing only wesker can have, which is lvl 4 x factor, so dark wesker is just a short way of saying "lvl 3 x factor wesker with the no glasses boost" he's starting to be more of a comeback char then dark pheonix.

@AcousticMedleyX ive always used normal controls. but its like, when i do any basic move that requires the use of the control stick, like down-forward-punch, it only does a ducking punch. im getting the timing down better, but its WAY easier in mvc2 to do moves for some reason. it just responds much more quickly than in umvc3. like i said, i am improving, but when im trying to do a combo w/ iron fist, i just end up doing a regular face button attack instead of a dragon's touch or crescent heel.

So, I've been trying to learn how to play Doctor Doom, but when trying to learn his double foot dive relaunch loop, he falls very slowly. In Max's videos he ends up falling quite quickly, leaving a lot of time to pick them up, how does he fall so quickly, is there a trick to the inputs or am I doing something wrong?

I stopped playing ranked matches because of all of the juvenile shit that people seem to do almost exclusively in ranked matches over lobbies. I'm tired of all the ragequitting, people telling me I'm one of those assist spammers when, ironically enough, I catch an assist in a combo and get a happy birthday, people telling me that I'm running away like a little bitch when I'm just trying to avoid a situation I won't win head on (i.e. Hulk + assists). I seem to play only with friends now.

@crazedanimefan65 It's a technique called "bold canceling." The only thing you can cancel stinger into is Dante's bold move (attack + special, the little hop move), but bold move can be canceled into specials before it leaves the ground. So if you input stinger -> bold move -> any ground special fast enough, it effectively cancels stinger into any ground special. It's not as hard as it sounds honestly, you just have to get used to how quickly it needs to be done.

If you somehow end up reading this I have to tell you about a card combo on heros and heralds. If you use Sabertooth(Main), Rathian, and Luke Cage you will have the damn near perfect combo. Sabertooth and Luke Cage will keep you alive while Rathian will inflict poison damage every 10 hits. The poison will give you the edge on others who are running Sabertooth and stop their regen cold. You still have to worry about x-factor for the most part but you should be fine.
