  • First of all you Ridley, you are have a lot of free time available. You got nothing better to do than to walk on street all day long, video taping your police encounters and then posting those videos on youtube. Get a fucking life and stop wasting police time.

  • Wow Dave, you have the patience and tolerance of a monk! This officer was intentionally being a smart-ass jerk and trying to provoke you and incite you into reacting to his smart-ass mouth.

  • Hilarity!!

  • wow that cop kept going on and on.... good effort

  • The cop displayed a bad attitude and as I wouldn't like to be talked to that way either. He had already made up his mind that Dave was guilty and was just looking to confirm his hunch. Notice that he painted a picture of harassment and then asked Dave if he did this rather than just ask for his side of the story in a neutral manner. I may not have cooperated with him either.

  • The cop should have asked more questions to the person that made the original complaint. I believe that the complainant was at the least embellishing her story. He could have asked the teenagers. A good cop has to assess the validity of the original complaint before acting on it.

  • Although Im not a big Fan of some cops , I totally side with these cops, the dood in the video is an idiot .. Someone filed a complaint and they had to follow through, nuff said, ur a moron..

  • This guy is crazy. He will do anything to get a scewed "story" He will follow people around and keep pressing his views with scewed questions to get the answers he wants. If he doesn't get them, he will redirect the question and keep pressing the issue. I like watching this stuff because it is so funny. He is like a walking Disney charicter with out the fur.

  • @yoyo762 I know exactly what my rights are, i just don't go out of my way to be a dick about it. I hope you never need a cop to save your life. The sad thing is that cops are above all your bullshit and will save a life no matter who you are.

  • @iamtheanday Knowing your rights and defending them are seperate issues. This cop approached Ridley with an accusation in the form of a question. He wasn't investigating, he was reprimanding Ridley for an unconfirmed complaint. He also pretended he didn't know Ridley. Thomas Jefferson said "I am NOT a friend to a very energetic government. It's always oppressive." This cop is energetic enough to have made an ass of himself. The fast question and flim-flam crap failed to confuse Ridley. Funny!!

  • when this guy and other like him finish their job... it wont bring about no police..... it will bring police that treat us with respect and follow the laws they are purported to uphold... no one is against cops... just the ones that don't follow the law and feel it is alright to abuse free citizens...

  • and all these hate things about my child and a camera..... accusing him like he was doing that.... so weak when ya talk with no facts

  • If the officers are going to arrest you they will... if they are asking you questions...its because they need you to give them the evidence so that they can arrest. Excellent video on do not answer even one of there questions....

  • Another child molester in the making.

  • If you shoved a camera in my child's face, it would be the last thing you ever would do.

  • @runningwolfkenpo I guess tough guys like you are hard of understanding.

Where is he acussed of shoving anything in anyones face?? The complaint was he spoke to / called out to a group of people inquiring about their activities.

And now he is a child molester? WOW. See a shrink, tough guy. Next you'll accuse him of the Kennedy assassination. Sounds like you've taken too many punches in the head.

  • ok you got right, but that ridley guy is a bit of an asshole you got to agree with me on that people . i say that and still think he should be able to carry

  • I'm not half way through and I think I would have told the cop that his very message was already heard from the previous officers and he is mearly repeating the same message and that I feel I am beginning to be harrassed. I believe I have evidence and would now am thinking I'd like to report it. Lol

  • @Fred420ist TYPO I have eveidence and now I'm thinking I'd like to report it.

  • You were very smart not to answer any questions. Never, under any circumstances, should anyone, innocent or guilty, even if you are telling the complete honest truth, answer police questions when they are being investigated.

  • It's not a human right. It's a constitutional right.

  • "How do you know that what she was saying was accurate?"

"How do I know? Well, should we not follow up on the complaint?"

see the strawman that the cop presents here in order to avoid answering a question.

"Apparently, that means nothing to you, because you have all the answers right?"

this is an intimidation tactic. he gets you to admit you don't have all the answers, and tries to make you embarrassed and humble so you don't ask anything more.

thanks for posting, it's a great video to analyse

  • I think some cops are jerks, but in this case the guy with the camera is being a jerk. I agree with fighting against the abuse of power, and standing up for our rights, but if someone does not want to agree with me, they have that right as well.....

  • This cop has no evidence to back up his claim and falls back on poor logic and faulty reasoning to try to pressure this guy into admitting some mistake. It's clear that the cop is the one in error.

  • @gaozhi2007 The officer was just following up on a report. The cop wasn't in any error, Ridley is just being a dick.

  • @Bufonism whether he is being a dick or not is irrelevant. The question is whether he has the right to not give out the information the cop is asking for. There are plenty of people who are dicks who are just excersizing their rights of free speech. youtube is the perfect example of this.

  • @gaozhi2007 agreed. But the cops still have made no error.

  • @Bufonism I simply meant logical errors, like baiting and using pressure tactics, or answering a question with a question--that sort of thing.

  • This Ridley guy is being a total jerk in this video. The cop was just doing his job and was very patient, despite Ridley being a douche.

  • @celtsrepeat does "just doing his job" really include trying to intimidate a man, talking about locking people up and putting them in handcuffs? i've had encounters with cops like that before. if the cop was such a patient guy, why doesn't he shake hands with ridley like a normal person

  • ansaaahhhhssss

  • That cop is clever, to bad hes being really...hes being an asshole...such wasted intelligence

  • Don't give the impression you are breaking the law? If you are not breaking the law then the police have no authority to even approach you. You have no concept of freedom and liberty. You rely on the police state to give you a sense of security because you are not willing to be responsible for your own. THUS you willing to sacrifice others in your own feeble, scared, small existence. The fact is that the police are under no obligation to protect you. They only respond post crime.

  • @jaker277

    I agree with @newcration32

Someone complained about Ridley harassing people. So the officers showed up to see what was going on. They approach and tell Ridley that someone filed a complaint about him. They are giving him a friendly warning! They are trying to get his side of the story but he refuses to answer their questions.

If I filed a complaint about someone, I would damn well want a police officer to respond! If they arrested him without questioning him. THAT would be wrong.

  • @birdwingfx Someone complained. And in America we have a right to know our accuser. We also have a right to not speak to anyone we do not wish to. Sadly it seems you would rather people not have a 5th Amendment protection.

They detained him for questioning. A detainment is essentially the same as an arrest. It is a prevention of your freedom of movement.

  • Because there has been a complaint of harassment lodged against you, you are suspect. Now it is the cops job to come to you, already with this suspicion of you, and ask you questions. They are not only evaluating your words, but your overall presentation you give them. If the suspect acts in any way that does not help to make clear of what the situation is then their index of suspicion of that person goes up. And, given the situation, could lead to arrest just from their suspicion.

  • @newcreation32 You have to have a disease of your mind to make such an horroible statement like that! The majority of society decided a long time ago that to protect society from people that do not abide by the morale's set forth by that society there needs to be an element in place to protect society from the offender. You break the law you have placed yourself outside of that societies morale standards. You will be handled accordingly.

  • They have what is called a duty to act. Cops for there own protection and safety will, and are trained to, assert authority in both physical actions and with their words. And, you know what they ARE the authority. We should all live in a way that seeks peace and unity. Not living our lives in such away that we seek chaos, irritating others, disrespect. Let us not be the problem.

  • @newcreation32 We should also live in a society free from tyranny. Police draw their authority from the people and at no time have a higher authority than the people.

  • @jaker277 True! But also the people have given them the authority and power to arrest, or detain in other ways, to conduct a search based reasonable suspicion. So, the people have given law enforcement the right/ability/authority to take away a persons, normally, certain constitutional freedom. I also understand and fully recognize that some law enforcement agencies/personal are bad. Example those 5 cops in California that beat to death an innocent homeless man.

  • @newcreation32 They need to be held into account like the rest of society. Nothing is perfect, and unfortunately innocent people pay an unfair price at times. It is easy to let let power go to your head, and with some you give them an inch and they will run a muck. I don't have answers on how to bring about justice in these matters. But I do know that going out there the way this guy did is not the correct way. Your just fishing at that point.

  • @newcreation32 I got the feeling from watching the video that this guy was hoping that they would do something illegally against him so he could cry foul. Those kind of actions do not bring about justice. I believe this guy has it in is heart that all cops are bad and is willing to become part of the problem.

  • The cop acted with professional behavior, and explained the situation clearly. To say that this cop was rude is and that he assumed the cameraman was guilty before talking to him is absurd and just an assumption without merit. The cop came to him and explained the PD received a complaint of harassment against him. This is part of their job, if I called and said that my neighbor had just shot a gun into my house they are going to follow up with this complaint. The same works for this scenario.

  • Nobody is perfect, and no system is perfect. We try to make ourselves better, and adjust the rules as we go along and gain knowledge and experience. It is counterproductive for a person to assume, as in this particular video, that the cops were there to only harass or impede what he was doing. This particular cop was very well behaved, acted with maturity and respect. The cop answered all his questions and when he realized this cameraman was just playing games he left without incident.

  • I have been a paramedic since 2001 and I can tell you with full trust and confidence these guys are good, peace seeking people. These guys are risking there lives for 25k-35k a year starting with very little growth to their earnings over the years. The, in my belief and experience, that the majority of cops are fair. I believe over time that dealing with, over and over again, the general public can make some cold, sullen, callused. Who is to blame for that?

  • It is this kind of behavior from the public that, in part, make some cops behave like jerks themselves. It would seem that people like this cameraman are just trying on purpose to show themselves as jerks, purposefully trying to show that they know something. As it is in any profession there are some that are abusive with power, overall jerks and or incompetent. All we here about, it seems, are the bad ones.

  • The camera man is correct about constitutional rights. But at the same time he is purposely being an asshole. For him to say he was only stating/protecting/exercising his rights is a farce. He was hiding behind constitutional rights, hiding. Those cops asked and asked over and over again without infringing on his rights, and he still stonewalled them. The cameraman knew exactly what he was doing and that was being a rude and arrogant jerk.

  • @adamdavidsson I'm not sure what you were watching, but the police conducted themselves somewhat rudely in assuming he had already done whatever he was accused of before coming to him and hearing his side of the story. If the police had come to him in a friendly manner, explained they had received a complaint and would like to hear his rendition of what happened he still has the right to decline comment and there is nothing they can do about that.

  • @squat224 You're missing the point. He is not required to answer any questions and they have no right to detain or delay him on baseless accusations by some random person. If he had made a complaint about the women before she made hers about him would she be the one being harassed by the police instead?

  • Where is the law that states law abiding citizens must respond and be obedient towards aggressive officers?

  • I like how the bald cop wants to be a smart ass and then realizes Ridley knows the law and quickly identify himself.

  • your "constitutional rights" have an aditional page called constituional liabilities so don't forget to read that before reading your rights. you have rights and liabilities

  • if you were a journalist were is your id? if no id than ask police questions because he orders you to do it

  • it is clear that he tryes to get in trouble with the police by provoking the cops

  • I have really mixed feelings about his guy... on the one hand I applaud what he's trying to do, the points he is trying to make, the rights he is trying to establish, but on the other hand he is such an obnoxious douchebag I just wanna kick his teeth in.

  • good work thank you

  • Thank you SO much Mr.Ridley for providing a first-hand look at how cops act in every town across America. Their whole approach is based on assumed guilt, just because somebody "complained". In their eyes...and the system's eys...you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. Well done for not giving in to their fear and intimidation tactics. If you would have tried to reason with them and answered their questions, you would have only incriminated yourself. Excellent job indeed!!!

  • @Plissken68 Have you been in every town across America? That's a lot of places. I wouldn't want to "assume" you are exaggerating or just simply lying. Are you exaggerating or lying? If someone kept trying to step on your constitutional rights in an illegal way you would report it to the PD? If not why? Would you want the police to investigate your claims?

  • this is an instance where his NOT refusing would have been more benificial than not answering.

  • I actualy agree with the cop. But if the cop is wrong....I will say their wrong. I do watch CopBlock.org

  • they delcine to shake hands with you because they dont wanna point a middle finger at you and loose their jobs, cuz thats what i would of did. you didnt treat them iwth any respect. if you would of gave them some respect they would of did the same. they were dicks because you introduced urself as a dick

  • bro...u have the constitutional right...hes right. hes probably just saying that cuz u have a camera on and hes trying to look good for youtube but the right that you violated was the right to privacy. if you did nothing wrong u should comply with them and let them go about their buisness. yes i agree with applesstudios, im not trying to be a dick but you are VERY ignorant. this cop has the right to detain you and should have many times while watching this. u failed to answer questions

  • @adamdavidsson He did not fail to answer any questions. He refused to answer any questions. Which is his right protected by the Constitution.

  • @jaker277 If he didn't do anything wrong then why the stonewall? He is not proving anything other than being an arrogant jerk. He made the cops job harder. They did not arrest, or detain in any other manner. But, you know what those same cops will put their lives on the line for him, and all of us.

  • @newcreation32 He is not stonewalling. He is being an American.

Police are under no obligation to protect you. They don't put their lives on the line for you, they do it for a paycheck. Only one responsible for protecting you is yourself. Police respond to crime they do not prevent it.

  • @jaker277 You sir are an idiot. Law enforcement is in place to protect me and the rest of society from people who think like you. The ideology of law enforcement is to PROTECT and SERVE the public. They don't do it for a paycheck, to say that they do is plain stupid. Do you think all those N.Y.P.D. or Port Authority officials where thinking about there paychecks when they rushed into the twin towers? Do you think they where thinking about there paychecks when they died. DO YOU!

  • @newcreation32 Police are under obligation to protect life and property. You might want to actually research topics before opening your mouth and making an idiot of yourself. You obviously have no clue about reality and what actually happens.

  • @newcreation32 You should actually research it. It has been settled in court that the police have no responsibility to protect anyone.

Additionally, the police have no more authority than any citizen. Common misunderstanding of their authority. If they gain their authority from the people than they have no more authority than the people. The majority of society has an IQ less than 100 and are unable to understand such things. I would reckon that you are among them.

  • @jaker277 You are wrong.

  • @jaker277 Also, I personally know 2 game wardens who are "peace officers", which is the technical term for law enforcement, they have the "right" and "ability" to perfrom a search of a persons house or car or person without permission from that person or from a judge. Technically they can come into your house and search at their will.

  • @newcreation32 Peace Officer is a mythical nomenclature. They are code enforcers and revenue agents. According to the Constitution, which is the highest law of the land, they cannot come in without probable cause.

  • @jaker277 Depending on the county, or jurisdiction the cop is in they regulated differently. Example some jurisdictions allow high speed pursuits of suspects. With that one thing cops in pursuit can legally be allowed to travel faster than civilians can. In other words, if you or I where to travel 100 mph trying copy the license plate number of a drunk driver we have broken the and leave ourselves wide open for legal action against us. But not the cops.

  • @newcreation32 Wrong again. Why do you think there are policies that do not allow high speed pursuits? Because the department does not want to pay for the carnage it creates.

  • @jaker277 In Texas we have a concealed handgun permit for those who have taken a class and have a permit. Still we as citizens cannot carry a firearm into certain places, like a government building, but cops can. Or I should say the cops who are assigned to work in that building can. So, cops do have legal authority that goes above the citizens. As a paramedic while I am off duty if I see someone who needs medical attention and I don't respond I can be put in jail for that.

  • @newcreation32 You cannot carry because you have become sheep, subservient to a fictional authority. Again, the police, and any other public official has no more authority than any private citizen. What you need to understand is that they gain their authority from the people. THEREFOR HAVE NO MORE THAN THE PEOPLE.

  • @jaker277 The same goes for cops, if they see someone performing anything illegal they have, what the letter of the law states, a "duty to act". Now do all follow this I don't know, I am only stating facts about the law that the citizens of this society have put forth.

  • @newcreation32 If they personally witness illegal activity then they do have a duty to act to every extent of the law. The extent is that they cannot detain without probable cause. If they only have second hand knowledge of an alleged crime then the most they could do is investigate. At no time does this over ride a citizens freedom to not answer any of their questions.

  • @jaker277 So many sheep are under the wrong impression about cops. Just read " dial 911 and die" to see the case law. Cops are under NO obligation to intervene to save your life.

Or research the Columbine case where cops stood outside for hours while kids were under attack. Victim parents sued and were told by the courts that cops have no obligation to take a bullet for you.

  • @yoyo762 Refreshing to see someone who sees.

  • @newcreation32 They rushed in thinking it was safe. They had no idea the building would collapse.

Or are you telling us they are the secret service for the general public? The president has the secret service for him and cops are the secret service for all of us, is that it??

    Get real.

Just read cop forums and see their main concern. That common theme? "I'm going home after my shift". They are not about to be martyrs for you.

  • @yoyo762 So sorry you feel that way.

  • @newcreation32 Feel has nothing to do with it. Its just the reality of cops.

Your "feel" that cops will be martyrs for you, a personal secret service taking bullets for you and sacrificial lambs for society is wildly misplaced and, frankly, as ridiculous as the arguments in your posts.

  • @jaker277 "He is not stonewalling. He is being American." So that would explain why a lot of people in this world think that Americans are arrogant jerks. Lets see if you can understand this...don't break the law, or give the impression that you are breaking the law, or associate yourself with those who break the law and there won't be an issue with the police for you. If you need I could draw a picture for you, because I am not sure on your level of education.

  • If he were to answer their questions he would be detained for confirming he was near the complainant, despite whether her accusations were true or not. If you talk to the police for anything other than what is required you risk being a witness against yourself. Plead the fifth whenever possible, don't try and make a point and do NOT argue with cops.

  • you think the cops should revive all the information before following up a police report that way they don't need to ask questions, there is no excuse for laziness

  • Manchester Police might have stepped out of line in the past, and still do from time to time, but they do deal with alot of bullshit.....if I had there job Id be an asshole as well....takes a person of self control to deal with the general public

  • lol I think you just wanted to know her side of the story! XD

  • Your a complete idiot, if your petition had shit to do with anyone then you wouldnt need ignorant children to unknowingly sign your shit, just comply with police cause when your in position where your fucked and need help look who your gonna turn to

  • People can whine about rights all they want. But I just have the personal feeling that this guy is trying his ASS off to get the cops to violate his rights on camera so he can get a quick payday or some youtube hits. It's not that I disagree you have all the rights or you don't have the right to assert them, it's just that you're kind of being a huge dick and acting very agressive and odd to people for no reason.

You can do that to anyone and get the same response. Cops are people too.

  • @ChefRappa

Standing up for what is right is not being a "huge dick" at all. He was never disrespectful. Just because you're not conscious about how deep corruption and bad training is there doesn't mean everyone is oblivious. If it weren't for people like this we would not have our constitutional rights at all. Next time you want to criticize someone for standing up for your freedoms think about what you've done remotely similar.

  • @Kancerous I'm as Conservative as most people are, but even so I can spot a douchebag when I see one. This guy is a douche. When he saw that cop he didn't think about my personal freedom. He thought "Man! I can get some SERIOUS hits on my Youtube account if I harass him!"

    Go to hell.

  • i used to think you were slightly annoying, but justified. now i think you're just an idiot.

  • top asshole

  • I respect what your trying to do Mr Ridley, but in this particular video,(I've only seen a few of yours) I think you eventially got to a place where your point was made, and it woulnt have hurt to simpley volenteer your side of the story in few words. Had you done so, you woulnt have looked guilty and the state can have on record both sides or the story. I applaud your stand, exercising rights, I truely do. But you may cause yourself and other citizens greif by taking things too far.

  • U.S. soldiers are occupying & waging war in the nations of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan & God knows where else. No declarations of war have been made as prescribed by the United States Constitution. ALL participants are guilty of treason. The "I-was-just-following-orders" defense didn't work at the Nuremberg show-trials of 1946-7 and it won't work now. U.S. commanders have routinely violated the Yamashita/Medina Standard in regards to hierarchical accountability in cases of war crimes.

"I am not in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, or of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people." --- September 15, 1858

  • honestly I support and like, what Ridley does, strait up, but, I BET money he harrassed a woman with her children. I fuckin hate cops these days, they arent Just at all for the most part (mind the cool, decent ones) its all just unfortunate

  • Meanwhile there's a meth lab in a van in a walmart parking lot, way to go pigs!!

  • dude... get a life, seriously. find a really hobby other than bothering cops. cops are people too you know.

  • @iamtheanday I understand what he's trying to do. But he's not doing it well.

Dave Ridley was in the wrong in this video. The police were acting appropriately. They didn't infringe on anyone's rights.

  • @iamtheanday How is Ridley bothering the cops??

I guess he should confess to everything including the Kennedy assassination on sight of the cops.

Seems you are confused about who is bothering who. He was just standing there and the cops came up to him.

  • @yoyo762 i cant argue with someone who has no common sense. its easy to see by viewing this ridley douches other videos that his life is going out and videotaping cops trying to get them to say or do something inappropriate. they he can go crying to the city and attempt to get them fired. i know you people, you were probably speeding and cop gave you a ticket. now you have some personal issue with cops. what you dont understand is that its not personal for cops. they're just doing a job.

  • @iamtheanday I can't argue with someone who refuses to know, understand and exercise his rights.

You may be happy to flush your rights away and incriminate yourself, either with the truth or just accidentally saying something that sounds criminal, but I won't.

Another TV watcher who gets his education by watching cop dramas. And has bought into the cops are special myth.

  • Yes the cop nailed it on the head, just look at ridley his lips are not injected like hollywood actors, ridley arguing dumb points and starts and ends his videos like hes talking to a child. I would bet ridley is gay and likes young kids.

  • Socratic method... he is the master of it!!

  • Ridley - this video is now my all time favorite. Any encounter with revenue officers has its share and degree of tension especially when you are the subject of their focus. The fact that you remained intelligible, lucid, and clear thinking is commendable. I also noticed how you responded differently to each revenue team. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Dude, this guy reminds me of how a little kid would act. There are not too many cops who act polite, however, these two were being extremely patient and this guy still acted like a 10 year old. Grow up man, your very very sad if you have nothing better to do then annoy other people. I used to act like that when I was little! Your a grown man!!!! GROW UP!!!

  • @pogopower15 "however, these two were being extremely patient..."??? wtf lol the dark haired cop seemed to me to be very hostile coming at him with an attitude seeming like he was already taking sides. I would read it the other way I think the petitioner was the most cordial and patient with this whole mess.

  • hey ridley can we get some higher quality vids?

  • i don't have your patience. I would have said no and moved along. But that's me.

  • Keep up the good work fighting for our freedom.

  • This guy doesn't have a very efficient approach when dealing with the cops. The first thing that law enforcement always tries to establish and maintain is complete control of the situation, including the conversation. You can not allow them do that. When you with cops you can either be cordial and polite, or a total belligerent dick (staying within the law, of course), not in between. This guy tries to be polite, but come across as an annoying douche. The conversation gets nowhere.

  • @Stratosticks Apparently the conversation went the petitioner's way. He didn't have to bow down to them and he still got off scott free.

  • Great job avoiding giving information. Yeah! I picked up on you not saying that you saw or approached a lady with children.

  • your a fuckin loserrrrrrrr

  • This guy is annoying as shit.

  • It's really funny to read the comments. You openly carry a firearm, and most of the common liberal hate comments are not shown here! I see a connection! I love you man, keep on rockin!

  • I'm starting to really like this guy.

  • Comment removed

  • He is a pisser.

  • I would consider myself to be pretty CONSERVATIVE. however....I would caution my conservative brethren to be careful with how much energy you put into your anti-law enforcement endeavours. we should make sure that law enforcement is acting appropriately. however, you dont seem to be noticing how your antics are playing right into the hands of the Van Jones' of the U.S. There are more constructive ways to get the message to the police than the cynical Ridley demeanour. just saying

  • so it went from teenagers to little children who interesting. It sounds more like another case of police harassment

  • A complaint, it would appear, is a legitiment reason to SUSPECT someone who is pissing you off! Fuckin idiot!

  • Is there a New Mexico branch of this guy's organization?

  • pedophile.why the hell are you chasing kids down?

  • @AlabamaAnarchy its a technique people use there to get police to respond to activists. common tactic that you can google and the oppisition states it. Just like if you open carry they call and say someone looking menacing is carrying a gun. its all tactics to use the police to harass freestaters.

  • Hey Robocop. Calm down, and suck a dick, cause you're a disgrace to you're dept. I hope you read this and realize the power of a camera you pussy. I hope you get shot during a traffic stop with some crackhead on the side of the road.

  • I Would give positive feedback to the cop in this video.

  • shit in other state's if you have no I.D. the cops take you in until you prove who you are, this guy is lucky they didn't take him in.

  • I guess cops dish out what they get. I treat them with respect, and they treat me like an old friend. NEVER have I had a problem with an officer. (local, state, or in a different state) They have even given my son extra breaks(he probably did not deserve) because he's a funny guy. Be polite and show respect, and you get the same in return.... That is my experience. If you make thier life difficult, I am sure they will return the favor!

  • Smart cop, someone finally exposed Ridley's double standard. And Ridley can only respond by talking in circles. What a jerk! He doesnt care about anyones elses rights only his own and those who AGREE WITH HIM!, Because he thinks he is so smart and perfect. You are creative Ridley, but your are a hipocrite and a attention seeker. If you did that here in Massahcusetts I would have gotten a written statement and landed your double standard ass in the pokey, lol.

  • @mikemac871 your assuming he did chase this woman and her kids down, she wasn't there to say anything so she wasn't to concerned about her or her children's rights. I think you just like ripping on people doing something you disagree with, and the cop did have to answer Ridley's questions, he has to, he a government agent. Ridley is obligated to answer nothing and actually the right to not incriminate himself, even if he did ask the woman to sign the petition.

  • The guy is an attention seeking looser.

  • @mikemac871 I know right???? why would a cop act like that? just for attention or what?

  • sweet good job

  • So to get yourself out of trouble with the Police , you need to be a eloquent , fast twitch english speaker ...

  • Where's part 4!?

  • cops are just trying to do thier job.... its people that make this difficult that make thier job hard. yes, you may have that right, but what ever happend to being courtious to people in authority. This is all for show and prove a point about power..... 90% of the officers are genuinly trying to help...... maybe officers would be nicer if they didnt have to put up with BS

  • @Digitalmanne Cue the violins!!

Cops are not trying to be helpful. Cops are fishing to see if they can generate a case against a person. And if a innocent person accidentally incriminated themselves, the cops would gladly arrest him and wouldn't think a thing about the trouble they caused him.

Stop worrying about cops. If they can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

  • @Digitalmanne Very Idealist, I wish it was so simple as "if you don't assert your rights, cops will protect them and you" but unfortunately we still live in a world where fear of the police is a safety precaution because they abuse there power on a daily basis, your percentage is actually a little mis-leading, 90% of police start out trying to help, but as time goes on they get jaded, and bad cops make it difficult to be a good cop with there fraternity mentality, 20% is more realistic.

  • I might also add that Thomas Jefferson once said

"When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is freedom" I think that's how it goes anyway more props to the cameraman for the balls it took to be so forward with his rights toward the cops

  • People might think you are stupid but I say if it weren't for people like you taking a radical approach to these sort of things we would actually lose many of our rights because the rest of us aren't stretching our muscles when it comes to our rights, so thanks, I'd also like to say that this particular officer was very nice and tried his best to fallow the law and not lose his temper and I give him props for that

  • who's on first? dave ridley is a waste. just my opinion dave. i have the right to my opinion right. please move out of my state. thanks.

  • @littlebigefan heres my opinion, your an ignorant liberal loving pig who apparently sucks cops dicks

  • out of the pocket. >MAO

  • god damn this riddly guy is awsome at exersising his right lolllllssss

  • excellent work

  • The cop in the sunglasses, what an idiot probably masonic douchebag thinking just cuz he carries a gun he can do whatever the f*** he wants(oh look I can make false accusations to), gues what jack wagon!!! YOU work for us my lil biatch, not the other way around.

  • Where the hell is part 4?

  • is this your hobby? i think you should try RC planes or somthing else. imo

  • Activists makes me sick with all them washing their hands in public after they do something wrong. was looking for more police brutality videos cause i saw one and i hated the cops on it but on this one i kinda think you were over the line harassing people to sign your paper.

how do i know you were ? well if you didnt then it would have been easier to just deny the cops of their allegations rather than to not answer it and become suspicious.

  • @J3ANP3T3R You are seriously ignorant. You apparently didn't even watch his previous videos where he explains what happened. And then you convict him of a crime in your own ignorant mind, because of baseless accusations you saw a cop say, who wasn't even the person who took the report. The cop didn't even know that they weren't "a woman and her kids", and you, being 4th person down the line with your information think you're so god damn sure of what happened.

  • Comment removed

  • @promontorium no im not being ignorant your just being stupid. ive seen all part 1-2 and this part of his video. and i dont and will not judge the uploader based on what he says on his videos. if you believe them just because they said so then you are being ignorant. this part of the video alone explained it all already. cops have repeatedly asked him if the accusations against him were true, that if he were harassing people to sign his petition. if he were innocent then no reason not to say it

  • @J3ANP3T3R You need to do a Youtube search for "never talk to the police". He has literally nothing to gain by talking to the police. Literally nothing.

  • @promontorium His Innocence. Literally his Innocence. If someone was murdered just a few feet away and cops came to ask if you have anything to do with it you would seriously tell them you have no comment just cause you wont gain anything ? what the hell. if he just said NO officer i had nothing to do with their accusations then the confrontation of the people in the video wouldnt have happened.

"never talk to the police" are you talking about your right to remain silence when ARRESTED ?

  • 20 bucks this guy needs special underwear to fit his balls in it..good for you!

  • the cops one of those guys that isnt used to thinking complex thoughts when communicating...what he wants to be able to say, is "yo, bozo, get the fuck outta here, before i kick yer ass....take a hike"... all this complex debating is alien to him

  • That police officer has a very weird voice. (Almost like a cartoon character.) Very interesting!

  • GREAT JOB!

  • I see you being a dick to an officer responding to a complaint.
