Haha! That's exactly how it goes! There was one girl who at my school who really wanted me read it and after about a year of that I read it only so I could go up to her and say, "You know what I read the book, it was ok, nothing special".

Yeah...ummm...my plan kind of backfired. I was still one of those first Twilighters though. I was the second person in my school to read the book. It was way before the movie came out. I think I read it the year New Moon was released.

Twilight sucks for us guys. If the Bella/Edward romance (the glue that holds the series together) doesn't work than it all just falls apart. Guys can't identify with Bella, and no amount of telling me that Edward is gorgeous is going to make me swoon over him. So yeah, didn't work for me.

I just shoved it into my closet with all my other books..well..I definantly regret that. so I went to see the movie during thanksgiving with my cousins and fell in love with it. My friends sorta forced Twilight down my throat and then I got hooked. But before that I was Anti-Twilight and I would just sit in the corner with all the boys in the class and stare at all the other girls in my class swooning over some boy named Edward. Then my friend left the book with me like in this vid and so the frenzy began. And coz I good at art I'm working my ass off drawing pictures of Twilight characters for them. Well at least I'm included in conversations now.
