Why do I have to sign up for government welfare? So the Democrats are essentially saying either sign up for government welfare or go to jail.

Are you on medicare, medicaid, or go to the Veterans Affairs to get health care ? Those are things everyone pays for, some people use, run by the government, and NO BODY has gone to jail.

uhhh, this was three months ago and most likely has been taken out of whatever version of the bill they are on. But HAD this version passed, everyone would have been required to sign up for gov run healthcare....if not then you get the fines and even imprisonment. Of course nobody has been fined or gone to jail.......ITS NOT LAW, but it was PROPOSED legislation!! Lets concentrate on defeating the current Obamacare bill now and not some previous version. Lets use the brain please!!

Why don't they have time to let Congressman Weiner respond about how much the bill will increase the deficit? That seems kind of important. Are they in a big rush to get back to their story about balloon boy? I mean that was only a 6:28 interview about something that affects everyone enormously.
