  • Hooya!

  • @ largemarge04 screaming eagles for life!!! My dad was in the 101st and I'm determined to get in

  • From one vet to all of you in that chorus - My Salute. Need I say more?

  • This is a very good song, and hearing the All-Americans sing it put chills up my spine. It was because of men like Lawrence Joel (the medic who was awarded the MOH), and the men who laid their lives down that day, that helped lead me into enlisting. That, and the fact that my dad was Army (Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 101st Division Artillery). I would like to to thank every one of my fellow servicemembers. Hooah, and Ooh-rah.

    Lance Corporal James McAmis, USMC

  • As a former member of the 173rd. Airborne Brigade Bco.2/503rd Infantry (Airborne) Vietnam 65-66 and 82nd Airborne Div. 2/505 Infantry (Airborne).I would like to ask for all to please respect this forum and honoring this song for the Men of the 173rd.Airborne Brigade (1/503rd.)who lost their lives on 11/8/65.And Niles Harris who told this story. • I am in the United States Navy. I witnessed the death of my best friend that I've known since Kindergarten. It was by far the worst experience of my life, and it just so happened on November 8th, 2005. Our ship got blown up at sea. Me and one other man survived. The rest passed, including someone who I considered a brother. One day, I will see him again. I love you and miss you, bro.

  • i was there my grandfater is a verarn

  • Dang... These guys aren't half bad. Pretty good, actually. Kudos go to the two who sang this one! WELL DONE! 5/5.
