I agree this is got to be one of the best Mario games I've seen. You rarely see happy endings with Bowser and there are few games out there with these kind of endings with him. This is what makes video games successful and I have to give praise for its creativity, comedic nature and excellent animation (especially for Bowser). At the end, you can tell he does care about everyone, he doesn't want to show soft side, after all, he deserves a reward.

I thought the game was too short! It was really good, I didn't want it to end! Better than most of the mario games that have come out recently, the Mario RPG series has been pretty consistently good over the years

I remember getting this.it was the day after it was released and i got the last copy.I was so happy i got it.But later,i felt very ill but i was trying to beat the first bowser and after i beat him and i fell asleep.Best day to get a ds game ever.But now i beat the game and the adventure is over :( but it was worth it to hear this amasing music ;).

Sounds like a music box. I can imagine a mother siting her child of about five years down and saying to them,

"It was a bright day in the Mushroom Kingdom until the mean bean (Fawful) took over the kingdom by using an evil king koopa (Bowser) as his weapon. And here starts the story of Mario and Luigi....."

You know, I love this ending. I love how they managed to keep the old rivalry between the Peach, the Bros. and Bowser, yet keep it sweet and charming by having a moment when you can see some sort of connection between the the two that isn't really supported by hate, but rather something positive that isn't a commonplace in their relationship :)

The ending sounds something like... "Job well done Bowser." And seeing Mario,Luigi,and Bowser rank at Rainbow Rank, Chakram will say::Everyone grew up super strong, I am beyond amazed....and now I go...."

I absolutely loved the ending with the cake...it was so heartwarming.

It pretty much said 2 things, that Mario, Luigi & Peach really dont hate Bowser, and it was obviously a thank you for helping to save the Kingdom...even if he was only doing it for the sake of one day taking over it, Mario & Luigi never could have won without Bowser's help this time

This happens in every Mario & Luigi game. When you beat the game, you go back to the last place you saved. Sorry pal :(

That's supposed to happen.

You start at the save block right before Dark Bowser.

Nowhere else.

You can move to a different location in the game, save there, travel all the way back to the Dark Bowser battle, and beat him again, then you'll wind up at wherever you hit the save block.

The ending was one of the most perfect endings in a mario game. It was so really tocuhing to show that the Bros. and Peach shown thier gratitude in a heartwarming way. We never see how Bowser reacts to his present but I personally feel somewhere in his grouchy heart, he felt an unfamiliar happiness. song and final scene really made me tear up.

Wait wait, in PIT, there are the credits music (all versions) and the music that plays when you look at the photo with everyone in it. (JAP version only).
