I dont choose on these vs things in the way most do, i see ways that Brosnan and Craig each have their own attributes that help each contribute something to the 007 character.

Pierce is suave and sophisticated, and has sex appeal. He is more of the "Classic" Bond.

Daniel is tough and cold-hearted, but also has an emotional side, like the Bond from the books. So that is my take on it.

Also - Craig fits perfectly into the role of James Bond as thought by Ian Fleming - A middle aged average looking guy who is completely bored, and has not much respect for his own life. He is often so bored, that he rarely smiles, and barely ever lucky with girls. The previous movies have always depicted the James Bond that's opposite of Ian Fleming's idea.

@bushyshot , how many of Fleming's books have you read? Fleming wanted Cary Grant or David Niven for the part when Bond was first being cast. That should tell you something about how Fleming saw his character. Niven and Grant were both renowned for their suavity and charm.

craig - he doesn't rely much on gadgets like brosnan. also doesn't smile uselessly like brosnan. brosnan and other earlier bonds fell for sex, craig fell only for love. it is true that brosnan acts better and looks sexy & noone could act better than brosnan(a spy)in 4th protocol. but when craig gets into a fight his body doesn't look unmatched. when brosnan punches a big russian who is down and out in a single punch-that appears too silly. esp when he did that hanging upside down in golden eye

I did not even know who this Craig guy was and I was shocked to say the least after I googled photos of him -ugh those ears! I also read how disappointed Pierce Bronsnan was when he got the call that he would not be in the new Bond movies. What in the world were the producers thinking? We know one thing they did not listen to the fans many are unhappy.
