Listening to this whole album I keep getting that they are using religion as an example of cultural psychosis. The album is called Folie A Deux, meaning the madness shared by two, then there are all this refferences in the song about belief and religion and how it can sometimes be a mental burden. I think they make a good point and they made it very creatively.
