I wish Universal could release the bonus content (or get the authorization to include the bonus material on their "Little House on the Prairie" DVDs). In Scandinavia (where I live) Universal Pictures has released 8 seasons of Little House on the Prairie, and on all those DVDs, there isn't as much as one second of bonus material. I hope that (some of) the bonus material is going to be included in the season 9 or 10 DVDs by Universal Pictures (or in the pilot which hasn't been released, either) :

Until last week I've been so exited to hear that a new "Complete Edition" will be released in November ... until last week ... it looks as if someone cheered too soon!

According to ImaVision the upcoming DVD release will use the same cut, edited and "mutilated" episodes that are currently available!!!

I think $ 250 are far toooooooo much for censorship! I'm really deeply disappointed. Shame on you ImaVision.

Oh goddddd the final couple minutes with the actors talking, made me cry. I'm 23 and became a fan of this show at age 11 when my parents bought the videos of it from Time Life. I became obsessed w/everything relating to it and the books too. I even played it, dressing up like a pioneer girl with my sister outside!

WOW! This material is a dream for all of us who grew up watching Little House! I will be looking anxiously to purchase this DVD - esp. the one including "The Last Farewell" piece with Dean and Melissa, and Richard Bull narrating. It looks fantastic, as do all the wonderful interviews with cast members who haven't been interview about this before. Can't wait!

All this DVD content is controlled by NBC and Imavision. If you live in the United States or Canada you should expect to see the new packages in stores before the end of 2008.

Some of these features are on the season 8, 9, and 10 collections, but the actor interviews, The Genius of Michael Landon, and Remembering The Last Farewell are on a yet to be released LHOP DVD collection. Dean
