A bit too charter for my liking. Is it true that BA have left entirely now? And that BMI scrapped its long-haul routes out of Manchester? My work flew a group of people from our Warrington base to Madrid recently and the travel dept were shocked that the only convenient flights were from Liverpool - looks like things have changed a lot in the last couple of years.

BA still go to JFK, but that's stopping, although they will keep their Man - Heathrow route. BMI is still staying but is cutting most of the routes.

yea da wheels are ok smoking its because they are not spinning when touching the ground and maybe it might stop in time it deppends on weight, speed, and aircraft :P

yes, usualy the aircraft would stop if the reversers didn't deploy; the brakes, especialy on a long runway, when coupled with speedbrakes/spoilers are engough to stop it. and the wheels smoke because they are still, then suddenly speed up, = friction, = rubber burning, = smoke!

The Emirates flight crew received a late landing clearance because of the previous landing aircraft had not vacated the runway!

If your theory is correct then the Emirates crew would only be lowing the gear down on the very last 1 mile or so!

why are you adding atc voicces that werent really there. I can tell its fake because planes are only allowed to pull their unercarriage down once their cleared to land, and once they are cleared to land there is nothing left to say untill it has touched down exept if they tell it to go around.

Aircraft can be 10+ miles out with gear down but only get landing clearance at as little as 1 mile or LESS! You are some expert, eh?

Think the road is called Wood End Lane. I go past the aviation viewing park on the left and just before you go under the runway turn right there. When you come to a pub then turn left and stay on that road till you go under an old railway bridge and Wood End Lane is 200 yards on your left and this will take you to the location. Some viewers might know the names of the roads!

take ur normal route on the motorway to the airport and there will be directions to concorde on a yellow sign keep following those directions. hope that helps :)

where is this video shot from? i now there is the viewing park where concorde is, and a now of the airport pub near T3. but i dont now of this spot.

It's in a position between the runways, just follow the steps below.

1,exit the viewing park along the wilmslow old road, and get-in wilmslow road (A538).

2,along A538 to the direction of wilmslow road garage, and you will find a park on your right hand side.

3, enter the park, you will find it in about 3min's walk.

The XL 757-200 came in too fast, the pilots flare to much and at 2:18 they have to lower the nose height, any landing is a good one though.
