These kids are very good, and I mean it, VERY GOOD, especially for their age. However, just because they may be good in solo's, doesn't mean they'd be ready for acompanying. Give them time, and they'll develop it, but if you push them, they'll never learn it correctly, and thus, never be as good as they can.
I don't want you to think that i think they're not good, they are, just not perfect yet
Thats the problem, what is the point of putting a kid out trying to acompany or lead a concert when its not percect, or close to it, as my guru tells me, "quality, can't be compromised"
his notes aren't even too clear, I don't want to critizize the violanist too much mainly due to the fact that I'm not too educated about that insturment, from what I heard she squeaks way too much, she seemed to slow down a bit, and quite frankly, she wasn't confident. She softened up at times, was unsure at places, to be quite frank, it wasn't perfect.
I'm sorry for making a negative comment but I have to.
This is whats wrong with parents today, they push their kids too hard, trying to compete saying "my son or daughter did their first concert at 6" or whatever, and keepin quality as second. I'm not trying to discourage the kids, but its quite apparents that they both are not ready for concerts. The mridangam can not differenciate the nam's from gem's, nor does it sound like he even has rava on, (if he does, not to well),
@worlddominator62 at least they had the guts to do something when they are so young unlike you sitting on the sofa with your lazy but sending negative notes
last time continu'd
