  • Awesome pilot! 4inches closer bye bye chinook -.-

  • And then they get sucked into the blades 0.0...

  • ㅋㅋ

  • superb piloting

  • Great pilot!

    It´s incredible,GOD JOB!

  • es increible las maniobras que hace

  • that was SO CLOSE to lawnmower :S great pilot job!

  • wow

  • Friendly care package on the way!

  • So badass I forgot how loud those were

  • I'm not sure who has more balls, that pilot or the people getting under the rotorblades to get in. Eitherway you need some serious trust in eachother, and both have balls of steel. Respect.

  • pilot=badass

  • nicely done. very good Army Rotary WIng Aviators here in this video. *****

  • like a scene from COD MW!

  • man this is so cool.

  • I was watching this Chinook vid in my house and a real helicopter flew over.

so i turned off the sound. who needs it.

  • Fucking amazing pilot (:

  • scary shit to go under the blades :>

  • Absolute perfection

  • i hope the talibans kill more of these criminal invaders

  • this is a great example of the mystical bond between man and machine :P

  • 10 dislikes because those ten are afraid to serve.

  • @bitethedevil Amen! And wow what a good pilot!! Balls of steel I tell ya!!

  • Being eye-level with the rotor blades of that thing is not what I would consider a good time.

  • Great video.....hope you boys got home ok....keep your heads down.Hope you all come home safe & well....good luck guys

  • this week hs taliban distroyed a chinhook when he was starting with a rpg . 31 US an 7 Afgahn soldiers has died , taliban motherfuckers.

  • for some odd reason i really like this helicopter

  • @sm33lysocks Cause it's awesome. The Apache pilots have to ask them to slow down so the Apache's can keep up.

  • @JcXtreme72 really? i think i found my favorite helicopter

  • A pinnacle landing is simply landing on a ridgeline, like they are. It can be done multiple ways, they are doing what's called a 2 wheel pinnacle, placing only the aft gear on the ridge line.

  • @ChinookCE How come the plane doesnt stall or become of unbalance when it does the Pinnacle landing?

  • whats a pinnacle landing?

  • @Haloplaya2332 Touch down on one end of aircraft while other remains airborne. Really good pilot flying this thing.

  • want to get to the best part? click play, then pause then hit 9

  • who are they and who is flying more importantly? they can fucking fly

  • @mrjimbeam2009 Special Operations Aviation Regiment. (SOAR). yeh. they can fly. as far as the operators. more likely NSW than Delta judging by some of there movement. but SF all dress alike and use the same equipment. ubiquity holds a certain value for us. this video barely scratches the surface of what these pilots and more importantly flight crews are capable of .

  • @pgorman391 that is not SOAR.......

  • Can anyone identify the patch seen at 1:30?

  • @Pippin76 Delta Force ? ( SFOD )

  • @Kreyzy195 The thought crossed my mind :) But I dont think they would wear a patch of their own, ever

  • @Pippin76 I belive there's knife inside so it might be some airborne division ... Hmm. Special Operations Airborne ? They're not wearing common grunts loadout even camo so I belive they might be from some special force unit.

  • @Kreyzy195 They're SEALs, it says at the start of the comments :)

  • @Kreyzy195 They're SEALs, it says at the start of the comments :)

  • essa palhaçada toda pra pegar o bin laden?... a morre diabo

  • very nice pilot!

  • We did of this training in Korea!

  • Balls of Steel Bro.. much respect.... AIR ASSAULT

  • could he safely pull otu of that position if an engine was to fail. do helicopters need a good glide altitude for the autorotation to be effective in the event of both engines failing.

  • @210482fmj Don't know about that, but if the copter experienced a sudden change in wind heading, it would've been a prime candidate for a blade-sail accident

  • I work with the pilot who did this. He's a national guard pilot. He flies Bell LongRangers for Air Evac Lifeteam when he's not with the guard.

  • Ho-LY-SHIT!!!!!

    Skilled mofo's!

    Max respect

  • THAT WAS ME

  • joanilabres..... that is clearly a pinnacle landing due to the fact the forward landing gear are not on the ground...

  • that pilot is a bad ass lol

  • Holy shit... Fucking favorited twice. Then again.

  • That was amazing!

  • Great video. That´s a slope landing, not a pinnacle IMO.

  • @joanllabres1234567 1234567

  • Military Pilots are the fucking best.

  • Holy cow!

  • Fantastico....gran pilota

  • That pilot is a boss.

  • spectacular

  • @2:25 GET TO THE CHOPPA!

  • like right out of a freaking movie!!! Great video and nope its not a movie!!

  • Really incredible how one very sweet vid brings out the loonies, the wannabes, the know-it-alls, the tangoes, it's like a frikkin carnival sideshow here, with the comments. Can you bozos HEAR YOURSELVES? LOL

  • Thats some ballsy flying!

  • holy shit man!! look the back rotor at 2:26, it almost touches the side !!!!!!!!

  • sick

  • 6 talibans motherfuckers watched this movie. :D

  • @wosiekwks nine now...lol

  • I'm a US Marine and I want to crew chief on these magificent helicopters.

  • @masterflizzle thats cool because Ive been wondering... If I got a license to fly a twin rotor helicopter and somehow bought a Chinook would I need two people to fly it?

  • one of the best damn videos I've seen on youtube. You folowed up all the way in. Great job.

  • Its just asking for a RPG.

  • @Olekee98

You think they'll do this in a hot LZ? are you mad?

  • @cr9527 Oh no im just saying, but you never know.

  • @Olekee98

    Neither will the enemy.

  • @cr9527 You got a point.

  • @cr9527 USMC CH-46s did in Vietnam.

  • Awesome flying, but way to risky!! The blades are only a meter away from the hill!

  • The ground troops are SF, the aircraft and crew is Regular Army.

  • Special forces? They have silencers on their weapons?

  • This was regular Army.

  • @brianyoder81

It most definitely is not regular Army.

  • @NYSP22DAVID probably 160th SOAR not 100%

  • This was regular Army.

  • reminds me of cod modern warfare

  • @skah07 No just no.

  • those rotor blades got a little too close for comfort

  • MH47 drivers are some crazy mf'ers.

Wish the pilot/crew on our final air assault in the mountains before redeploying was that good. Turned a 2 hour each way trip into 5 days. Some of you mil. types can probably guess what happened.

  • @ArmyCC90 My bad. I meant CH47. Forgot, no refueling piece on helo in vid and neglected to read description.

Were those RA pilots or Night Stalkers using regular CH47s?

  • Will the blades hit each other? i know 1 is higher and the other is lower, but for example when turning a an angle the wind hitting on the blades causing the blades to bend.

  • @kuciaotopi No, the shafts, or whathever, is connected so that the total of 6 blades won't hit each other.

  • Amazing level of idiocy hatred and stupidity on part of poster "911was...". You sir are seriously troubled and really need more time with your therapist and to restart your medications! You have a freedom of speech, but not stupidity!!

  • Amazing skill and balls for pilot and crew.

  • 2 words: that's skill :)

  • awesome

  • Perhaps because of their size and weight, these Chinooks are very stable. They can hover so smoothly a man on the ground can throw a hook onto the hook of the Chinook in order to have it airlift a wide variety of gear.

Running up the ramp in the rear, you feel like you are running into a big tunnel. They huge inside and with the newer engines installed after 1967, they could lift a howitzer, its seven man crew, and a big net full of artillery ammunition. Awesome.

  • Helis can actually do that

  • Incredible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this almost looks real

  • does this Chinook have a gunner seat ?

like a mini-gun type thing or no?

  • @mastachief117spartan

yup, backramp offers a machinegun or grenade launcher to be mounted and theres options for MG support behind the cockpit on the side of the fugalage as well.

    epic spelling fails, fuck that

  • @mastachief117spartan No...this is not a task force bird, no miniguns. They have normal machine guns though.

  • huge pair of balls on that pilot

  • @ninodrhr Almost too huge lol. Didn't get that great of a look at the surrounding area, but it looked like they could have gone one or two tiers higher and the aft blades wouldn't have been so close.

  • that's some cool flying!

  • that pilot is fucking skilled... could u imagine how hard that would be A+++++

  • "Workhorse 28, this is Roughneck 7...I have audio, I am throwing green smoke" Doors open, leg hangin' out, not a care in the world...once I am airborne. I love when it is too loud to talk without a headset; who has something say between the pick-up and drop-off after the patrol is done? I described a Blackhawk lift; I love all helicopters. They are perfect way to end an eight hour mission.

  • Hell of a pilot! Great job!

  • Wow that is skill right there

  • goodness, my butt was puckered just sitting in front of a computer screen watching

  • wtf this is a very skilled pilot!

  • Amazing skills. Good work!

  • Altho I should also add, that the armament can consist of just about any medium machine gun, M60, M240 or the mentioned M134, but I doubt the Minigun would be practical as a rampgun.

  • Great flying! Amazing!

  • 1:29 blindfolded sheet-wearing captive

  • does the chinook have any attack capabilities

Keep up the good work! :)

  • @Backspace85all I don't believe they have rockets as they are a primary transport helicopter, but I think there are guns mounted on the windows of the plane.

  • @Backspace85all Not attack, rather defense. A M134 Minigun on each side as doorguns (just like the Blackhawk), altho for the chinook the term "doorguns" is kinda wrong, it would be windowguns. And there's an additiona M240D in the back on the ramp (rampgun), which is clearly visible in the video. It's designed for transport, attack is taken care of by Apaches and other models.

  • @Backspace85all Look up "Guns'a'go-go". A vietnam era ACH-47. Only 5 of them built. I think they should bring those bad boys back. They had 50 cals galore, m60's, grenade launcher mounted on nose, and rocket pods. Saved a lot of lives too. The modern techonology in the latest chinooks would more the compensate for the two that weren't destroyed by combat

  • great landing congratz to the pilot

  • THAT IS FUCKIN HOOAH RIGHT THERE!!! GREAT JOB BY THOSE PILOTS!!

  • skills!

  • Enter in style, leave in style.

  • One word "Incredible"

  • these boys know how to fly , great flying guys keep up the good work keep those taliban guessing where you are .

  • Awesome. That was fucking amazing. Best video on here so far

The guys at the front in the video just cleared the 'rotor disc' at the begining.

id love to be aircrew on a CH-47

Good job, fucking A right there

  • @AirSquirrel1 re-class?

  • @bo47hooker Huh?

  • Fuuuucking cool!

  • Comment removed

  • It would really suck if someone just came out with an RPG and shot the Chinook back to where it came from :l

  • christ , thats sooo close to the hillside

  • You know something isn't right when you see the top of the blades, lol, great pilot

  • Pro. Only word for it.

  • Wow !! That's amazing!! The rotors just cleared that hill! That's an excellent crew!!

  • Im thinking almost deffinetly SEALs because SEALs wear the black and white patches like the one at 2:53. I've seen them wear them before and seen pictures. Also if it was army like rangers or green berets wouldn't they be wearing ACU camo? I might be wrong but that's my thought. And TimV010 the snatch and grab thing and suppressors is a good point.

  • @Navy1348 Only 'big army' really wears ACU's in combat. Just ebout everyone else in a unique group of some sort wears different uniforms because they know ACU's are FUCKING WORTHLESS....

  • Probably SEALs, given the supressors, the 2 guys they took on a 'snatch and grab' mission (which regular troops don't do) and the unusual pick-up. It is some hairy flying, one upslope wind, goodbye aft rotor! Very nicely done!!!

  • Just another video proof of American military excellences. God bless our military men & women.

  • are these guys SEALs?

  • Stop all your bickering - those are without a doubt SEALs.

  • gooooooooooooooooooddddddddddddd

  • This is the sort of flying that makes me want to be a pilot even more!

  • wauw!

  • great, love that helmet cam videos. so close to the action :-)

  • EX-TRE-ME-LY COOL !!!!!

  • i can see you are special forces, but who are u guys, SEALs?

  • @555banzai I don't think they were SEALs. I'm willing to bet probably Rangers, or more likely, Green Berets. There were simply too many Operators on the ground for them to have been SEAL teams or even SFOD-D, or any other unit for that matter. But keep in mind, this was covert action of some kind because notice no-one is wearing unit insignia, in fact I'm not even sure if they were wearing flag patches or not... In any case - the best is the silent professional!!

  • @llcooljay18 hmmm, your right about them being in small bunches. although i did see a documentary of a camera crew going along with the seals and there were about 30 odd. and get to 1:42 look carefully at the back of the guys helmet i see an american flag.

  • @555banzai Probably Rangers. Just guessing. But all the work that the SEALs do cannot be recorded and posted on the internet. Their work is of the up most secrecy

  • @Holden599GTB yeah and i think that most special forces also do their missions under the cover of night With the SOAR(A). I think my knowledge of the SEAL's and Spec. Fo.'s isn't tht much but i am reading a book Called THE NIGHT STALKERS about The special operations aviation regiment(airborne) that take special forces such as delta force and seals in the cover of night.

  • Such an awesome vehicle!!!

  • whats the purpose landing like this?i have pretty much no military knowhow, so was just wondering. seems a lil risky...

  • beautifull scenery

  • For some reason, I like sound of Copter

  • Superb piloting! A chinook glided over my property some years ago and I swear he was less than 150ft. My heart was pounding. Great images!

  • @logboy73 a woman could do that!!

  • That rocks. The blades look ferocious. I'd be all like hell no I ain't going on no chinook fool!

  • SU-FREAKING-PERB !

  • I Love the sound of the Chinook

  • niceeee

  • WOW~!!!! Very cool!!!

  • WOW~!!!!

  • Thank you for your service!

  • maaan listen to that sick fucking chopping sound...

uber skills! props to the pilot!

  • who in hell are the 4 communists that don't like this??!!

  • skills.

  • God bless these bad-ass mother-f**kers

  • Big Brass Ones

  • one word... WAUW!

  • looks a dangerous machine,im glad im not driving it,,my hat off to the pilot, great work

  • i cant stop watching this and showing my buddies! fantastic

  • Very impressive teamwork by the aircrew!
