This song could have been my family's anthem in the early '70s. My grandfather was the leader of the family with an LTD station wagon that needed its own zip code. My father drove a hot rod back in the '50s. He said back then if your car got good mileage it was considered "light" and "weak". One of my cousins was practically ostracized for driving a Fiat back then.
