  • 300hp in a gokart? wear your seatbelt haha

  • Hey dude, what the fuck, quit teasing us. Make the video longer,....please.

  • people should make their Fiero videos longer.. only a few seconds is a tease

  • dude where did you get the kickass steering wheel and white gauge inlays i have the same car and they would awesome in mine so pleeeeeeaaaaaasssseeee tell me where you got them

  • no offense.. it sounded like an electric lawn mower when you revved... just sayin... u wanna hear some power, ill upload a vid of my 455 big block revving xD

  • @Mr3X7R3M3 that would be the supercharger, if you're referring to the whine/high pitch. i'm probably just saying something you already know, though. guys with big engines like yours usually deal with superchargers all the time.

  • 3.8/3800 superchargeded engines put out 240 HP...

  • @xcubestation mod·i·fy, [mod-uh-fahy] Show IPA verb, -fied, -fy·ing.

    verb (used with object)

1.to change somewhat the form or qualities of; alter partially; amend

That should clear up something you quite clearly didnt think of.

  • @rdpeach Your stupid..

Please tell me what you can do to strap on 60 RWHP to a 3.8?

    And copy/paste some more....super cute.

  • @xcubestation First of all it would be "you're" so you are the stupid one. You could drop a new cam in it, polish and port the heads, lighten up the valve train, and OH!! put a more powerful super charger on it with more boost! The 240 hp on the SC 3.8 came from a stock Eaton blower...and you cant change that with a stronger one why? As I said, you weren't thinking. So it's ok, you can feel retarded again for another day.

  • Geht wie ne gesengte Sau. Love the Fiero. A fun car to behold and more fun to drive.

  • what size pully ? and that sound was all supercharger NiCe !

  • Lame me and my dad have a black fiero with a 383 stroker with over 500hp

  • @crzydill No one really cares, if you really feel that way and go look up some "Fiero's with a 383" videos

  • Sounds like a 2.8L. Nothing more.

  • @TheCottonTop You apparently have never heard a 2.8

  • God those G.M. 3.8's sound like SHIT!!! One of the ugliest sounding engines ever. Fieros are cool though.

  • @bliglum Ugly sounding motor, crazy fast though

  • @fierogt27 Yeah, there's no argueing with that! big supercharged V-6 in a tiny car = good times!

  • @bliglum yea, im currently installing one in my fiero. I'll post a video when its completed

  • @bliglum You are right about that, but when I am doing 12.8's down the track, I dont care about the sewing-machine sound the 3800 makes :D

  • sounds bad

  • lol sounds like a leafblower.

  • @Rsimon859

    that's what superchargers do

  • automatic...............

  • @Darkndmessiah - point being?

  • @Darkndmessiah Automatics with these motors are the better set up

  • lol i like how pretty much everybody here is all freaking out and shit. the stock 2.8L has basically the same block. they are the same size block. just different sized pistons. the 3800 is only a Liter bigger not size wise bigger. if you place the blocks next to each other they are the exact same size just the top of them ARE different.

  • what a retarded clip.. good work on the 3800 SC fiero though

  • God I always Loved fieros, I see the videos That people Put Up and I droll LOl Someone please Slap That the shit out of the ceo Of GM And say Why did You stop making them!!!

  • and the winner is????

  • 3.8 is probably the only v6 from gm worth building.

  • @bjsniffitproductions The only V6'worth building ever regardless of brand. There have been a lot of great straight sixes from all over the world but the 231 is really the only truely great V6 ever. Can you say Grand National?

  • @rhrhllc i'll agree with you there

  • @rhrhllc Although I'm a GM fanatic, I gotta say, Porsche builds a not bad V6 themselves.

  • @RomeoReject23 They are great engines for sure but they aren't V-6s, they are boxer sixes (the cylinders are horizontaly opposed).

  • @rhrhllc Oh, I know they're 180 degrees out, I still count them as being more or less a V in terms of layout... Still, pretty cool engines for what they are. That being said, I'd still take the 3800 for the sound that supercharger makes. WaaaaAAAAAAAAAHHHHH.

  • @RomeoReject23 I gotcha, did you read the latest issue of Car and Driver? The 911 Turbo S did 0-60 in 2.7 and a 10.8 1/4 mile at 129 mph. And because it has an automated manual, awd and launch control anybody could achive these numbers. Just floor it and hang on. Seriously amazing.

  • @rhrhllc I haven't read it yet, but HOLY CRAP FAST. That's superior to most cars with cylinder counts/displacements double that. Wowza.

  • @rhrhllc they call that a "flat six" just like VW bugs had a flat 4

  • @dwiggs77 Flat and boxer are just two word for the exact same thing. Engines where the cylinder banks are 180 degrees out aka horizontally opposed.

  • @rhrhllc Uh.... 2JZ?

  • @abacacus Uh... Not a V6. Try again.

  • @187streetsoldier

I realised that about 2 hours after I posted. Inline 6. My bad xD

So how about the V6 from the Jag XJ220? Powered the fastest car in the world at the time...

  • @abacacus Lol, there ya go. :p

  • @rhrhllc if your talking about the buick grand national from the 80s it had a small block v8

  • @PeaceLovenHippie1 Your are wrong. The GN and GNX had a turbocharged 3.8L v6.

  • @rhrhllc what about the nissan 300zx/350z/370z/gtr? nsx? vw vr6's? audi 2.7t? mercedes diesels? The grand national is pretty cool but I wouldnt go as far as saying its the only truely great v6 ever

  • @rhrhllc

You are OF YOUR HEAD... The 231 used in the feiro was absolutely CRAP..Made poor power and didn't respond very well to mods The Feiro weighed in at ONLY 2700 pounds and the car was still a slug. Can you say: "Boat Anchor"??

  • @RAJSTA81

The Fiero never came with a 231 V6 stock, the largest engine you could get in one is the 2.8 V6 which is what you are thinking of. The Fiero in this video has the supercharged V6 that came in late model Grand Prix GTP's and other vehicles.

  • haha..nice!

  • auto gay

  • @BELLA40692 you're gay

  • cool gauges, where are they from?

  • that was fucking gayyy

  • is that a serious argument? its like a fat man riding a horse vs a jockey...any fat jockeys? nope! tiny lil wieners!

  • Either way,

    This car rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lets say your Fiero comes in at 2600 plus 200 for Driver, 50 for fluids=2800 Lbs. Using the Baseline of at least 10-1 ratio (70 Chevelle w350/350, 3500Lb). 280 HP should be the minimum. All bets are off for anything more than that. Its funny seeing 3400 Lb Mustangs with three aboard @ 200lbs each trying to race on a Saturday ....the ratio is all wrong with that many on board.

  • what? more people in a car dosent make it loose hp.

  • Comment removed

  • lol no it dosent dude! have you ever actualy been to a dyno event with cars that are worth a damn. they have people sitting on the back and even add weight. weight is totaly diff from hp. now weight along the driveline will cause you to loose hp. but weight in the car will never cause a loss of hp. if you take a 320hp 2jz from a supra and put it into a 240sx its going to make just as much power as it did in the supra no more no less.

  • Comment removed

  • no it wont lol I dont see how you cant understand the logic. the car will be way slower but it will still make the same hp #s

  • No loss in hores power.

(e.g.) Lets say you have 200 horses to pull a 4000lb car. If you cram 25 people in the same car, those 200 horses are still on the job, they just have to work alot harder.

  • no, that just means that if you do add that weight its still 300hp but more stress on the engine

  • @djpoontangy AND it will be slower...

  • In what galaxy do you live in? The horsepower stays the same no matter what you do. 10lbs, 100, 1000, hell... a million pounds... it'll still have the same amount of power. Will it be able to move as fast... no, but still has that available power.

It's like if I would say "I have a 1 gal bag full of jelly beans... if I put that SAME amount in a bigger bag, do I have any less?" No...It's all still there.

  • @untouchabledriver87 Actually, you are wrong. If you look up the formula for HP, it puts the weight into the equation. 1HP=a horse pulling 550lbs in one second. Look it up sir

  • @fierogt27 You're referring to a footpound which is actually an equation for Torque.. not displacement.

  • It only FEELS less powerful, but there is never, in any way, less power. A 300 HP engine moving 2000 pounds is going to feel much more powerful than that same engine moving 4000 pounds, but it is still 300 HP - no power loss has occured, the engine is just not able to move te vehicle as efficiently. If someone can easily push a Civic up a hill, but struggles to push a Hummer up that same hill, they didn't get weaker - they just applied same power to greater mass. I hope the example helps.

  • exactly im glad you broke it down for some people that could not possibly grasp the concept of power to weight ratio.

  • Oooh, you're going to hate me for throwing a wrench in your gears of logic... but don't forget about gear ratios and "feel" of horsepower and acceleration numbers. Exa,ple: in '99 I had a '89 Mustang 5.0 5speed, stock with 2.73 axle ratio. A friend had a mildly-modded '92 5speed with 4.11s. His had more HP and was marginally quicker 1/8 mile, but at a 1/4 mile, I would cross in 3rd gear while he was maxing out 4th! I ran consistent 13.01-.03 @98-99, him 13.30-.40 at 93-95 because of powerband.

  • @Dreznin So theirfore, the Fiero is perfect for any engine. Weight is everything, everything. If you argue with that, then your stupid.

  • it does make it gain weight which distorts the power to weight ratio. So in fact it loses power in the sense that it's got more mass to move.

  • speed is in no relation to power!!!!! damn peoplea semi has more poer then a b16 civic yet its slower. So get your shit strait.

  • More people in a car just makes it heavier.

The power ALWAYS stays the same. The only argument to be made that LESS power is made is that the engine is more stressed by MASSIVE weight gain to the vehicle it was tuned for not.

Even then we are only talking single digit percetages and theory.

Horsepower is horsepower. Just like a horse is a horse of course.

  • maybe you should read my other posts then you would see where I stand

  • strangly my 1981 camaro barly weight 3,000lbs and its pushing about 400hp is quick haha

  • Weeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaa. Thats how you spell that sound.

  • Actually the Fiero weighs 2450-2700lbs depending on the year and trim options. Still lightweight when you compare it to most of the newer "muscle cars" of today.

  • Lightest - 2464lbs - 84' base

    Heaviest - 2735lbs - 88' GT

    to be exact :P

  • yeah my title for my 87 fiero notchback says 2542

  • I like your white dials. Where'd you get those?

  • sound mean my mom boys firend regal sound like that he alwasy gose on club gtp

  • its an l67 you ignorant retards!

  • all i can say is why

  • 1800 lbs weight of car + generous HP = Fun and you can make em' look completely different car with body kits. Awesome for the leadfoot tinker...er. Remember, these cars were first made to be powered by a lazy 94 hp. Wiki lists less for the motor at 85hp. If you've got a decent work station a swap can be done at a comparitivly cheap cost to you.

  • because it will run 12s with ease, possibly even 11s.

  • well thats pretty good but im not sure the iorn duke is a very good motor

  • well it can handle 770 whp on the stock bottom end so I would say it is pretty good lol

  • yes thats pretty good wel i started to like fieros

  • yeah i had the duke in an old celebrity. not really all that powerfull, BUT a damned tough engine

  • they can be powerfull with ease. They take boost very very well. Most people dont realize that the L67 is basically a modern buick grand national motor....

  • there are different kinds of fieros... 1 has a 2.8l 1 has a 3.8l and so on, what does this guy have???

  • fieros never had a 3.8 in them stock. this guy in this vid has a L67 motor (3.8 supercharged) with some mods

  • @lurch1489 umm my gt has a 3800 in it, arnt they the same block different top end?

  • @coombsy16 your fiero GT has a 3.8 in it? If it does, it isnt the stock motor. Fieros never came with 3800 series motors.

  • @lurch1489 lol my mistake, it isnt

  • @lurch1489 it's the stock 2.8

  • @coombsy16 have you ever heard a 2.8L Wine like that? lmao thats not the stock engine dude lol

  • @AllAlaskan907 no, read the convo, we were talking about my car, mine has a 2.8....and mine did till i replaced the alternator. .

  • @coombsy16 Im sorry I didnt read it all, I guess I should have. My mistake.

  • @krazycardude The fiero never had a 3.8 in it, and no one that im aware of ever put a 3.8 in it. some people have put 3800's and 3800sc's in them but a 3.8 and a 3800 are different motors

  • @fierogt27 correct the 3.8 is a 70 dagree v6 and the 3800 is a 90 dagree v6

  • @warmfreeze wrong. The buick 3.8 and 3800 are both 90deg v6's

  • These stats are wrong......

  • another thing 0to60in16seconds, did he say it was a stock Fiero GT? no, its called common sense, get some before you comment anymore, k?

  • @lurch1489 m7 87GT with only exhaust does 0-60 in 7.

  • @Folkedahl ok..... your point?

  • did he say he had a 2.8 in it..........

no, so stfu and learn to comprehend. if he is watching this video, he probably has a l67 or another motor swaped in......

  • I HAVE A SUPERCHARGED 3800 IN MY FIERO

  • what do you have done i have a 1987 fiero gt i ran a 12.92 at 105.86 with a 1.769 60 foot i never put it on a dyno or tuned it yet

  • what do you have done
