I am so very sorry for your loss. She lives on in your heart and you will see her again. I lost my little boy about 2 years ago after 13 years of life he succumbed to heart failure. We have only recently decided to get a Corgi next time around. We are looking forward to the new addition to our family and will never forget my baby boy. Jay, from one guy to another, this is one special video. Two Pembrokes who are brothers from another mother are part of our family. I don't know what we would do without them. They just make you feel good when you walk in the door. Roddy is my wife's "shadow"; never out of her sight, and Ricky is the family watch dog, positioning himself at night in the most strategic spot to intercept "evil doers" who of course never come. I hope you find someone to fill the void; just a little.

i felt the pain you feel my 16 year old cockerspaniel died last winter in an ice storm of hypothermia he was getting blind and he got lost outside, we found him a few days later but it was to late he had to get put down. We grew up together and when ever I talk about him is't hard not to break down in tears, I miss him alot.

we just lost 2 corgis in the year almost exactly one to the day. They were brothers from the same litter, Higgins and Walter, Higgins was 15 and Walter 16. Walter just went 2 weeks ago. We miss them both so much. Higgins was the worry Corgi that always followed you around to make sure everything was ok, Walter was the party corgi with more personality than 10 dogs. They were a pair to draw to.

I'm so sorry for your loss but appreciate your posting this video. I had a Welsh Corgi as a kid in the 60's - looked just like yours, her name was Corky. In a childhood right out of the pages of a bad TV movie, she was my loyal and sometimes only friend/confident in an insane and unforgiving world at the time. I really think that dogs (especially Corgis) are a reason for living.. Thanks again for the video.

Just wanted to let you know that the 3rd dog from the same litter went down 2 weeks ago. Am a recovering alcoholic and in AA and fell off the wagon in a very big way. It was bad, very scary. GHB overdose too. Didn't know where I was or recognize my roomates. What got me out of it was your video and even though she didn't know me or love me, Feron (and my awesome corgi Hansel) would not have wanted that. Thank you for starting (ugh..have to start from scratch) my new recovery.

Sorry for your loss, I had to put 2 of my dogs down on the same day year and it was gut-wrenching. Makes me wonder if it's worth it to have another companion if the end result is always the same :( But I wouldn't trade those years for anything so who knows. What happened that she only lived two years?

I have a new animal a parrot who is sitting on my shoulder as we speak. Someone did not want him anymore and gave him to me. They were good with him but started having grandkids and just could not take care of him. He has given me + my cat (stray) such joy. It took a while for Charlie to get used to me but they're like my children and I will do anything for them. So I know what you're going through. You have alot of people sharing your sorrow.
