@hfulty - very unfortunate for you. Hope you recover. Unfortunately, the physiology of our bodies are all unique and different, some folks are more prone to getting a concussion than others. I've been labelled many times with mine and no issues whatsoever. We are all wired differently.

It speaks volumes when Sportmask's LOWEST END mask can take such a beating and still protect your head. I have a Razor and absolutely love it, wouldn't feel safe in anything else. Way to go Tony.

This is the ''lower'' end model. The richochete. None of sportmasks mask are bad. I'm picking up an x8 probably very soon, sportmask is the only mask that really fits my nicely. I have been using a nvy7 for 3 years

Cages are supposed to bend, if they don't, the impact will continue on to your head. Unlike the shell which disperses the impact, the cage, especially the front is square and flat to the puck.

This is why i have ordered a sportmask, Tony is a smart guy i know many people who got a sportmask after seeing this. The mask in this video is not evan his top mask,,,,,,

Yup...it was shot at River Oaks. I was firing the Boni at Tony and I'll tell you, it took some major guts on his part to take that. Trust between two good friends is what I called it! We had brand new discs put in the machine and brand new pucks to eliminate any possibility of error.

Goes to show you how someone stands behind their products and what a great mask it truly is! I would use no other myself.

Sportmask is the best mask in the biz. Tony is a genius, and I wouldn't mind doing the above test with my sportmask.

I think this test is more peace of mind than anything. I cannot put a product on the market (such as a mask) and not know it's capability. I am sure CSA results are good enough but it left me thinking the crash test dummy they use cannot say "ouch that hurt". Sensors, data sheets and head forms are an excellent way way to test, however I needed to take it one step further.
