IAH Go Around Continental Airlines 737-500 Rejected Landing Houston Boeing Abort

I've flown over 40 times and am only 17 and have never had an aborted landing, I know somebody who has flown about 6 times and have had diversions and aborted landings. You might think I'm lucky but I want to expenrience a go-around but obviously would want the reason to be something such as another aircraft or animal still on the runway rather than bad weather or a technical fault, you know, something more dangerous!.

@need7when My camera is tightly wrapped around my hand several times. If it is going somewhere I'm going with it. Using Projectile argument, big hard back books people bring on the plane and can read during landing and take off are far more dangerous. Those hard back Harry Pottery books are bigger and weight a lot more than my camera and are not strapped to the person reading it. One of those hitting you it going to be like getting hit with a brick. I guess those should be banned too.

@airbuntie ATC turned us in too soon therefore we were too high and too fast to make the landing safely so the pilots opted to go around.
