1) What do you have to do to take care of your piercing? I mean you have to wash it everyday or what?

2) Is your tongue getting numb after that? And if it does... For how long?

They give the guy sugar as sometimes when getting piercings you can feel feint so putting more quick sugar into the system stops this from happening or more prevents really the water was probably just to rinse down the sugar but should have rinsed first i think.

the worst part about it is not the actual piercing but afterwards. i had mine done a long time ago. for about a week afterwards, the tongue is very sensitive and sore so you either have to chew your food very carefully or go on a liquid diet.

i got mines done March of 07. it took a couple of days for the swelling to go away. i had no lisp. take ibprophen, and drink a lot of slurpees. after a while, it doesnt even feel like you have a tongue ring. but make sure the ball is tight on it, cause you can swallow some. lol

but its definitley worth it.
