The Game is not supposed to be like MP3, but rather a FPS game for more of a tactical point of view. They said they were bleanding Metroid, Halo, 007, Half Life, using the best attributes from the games. Art? who cares. The game is still in Beta. When it comes out, it will look a lot better than this.

Well, in some way he is right. When you look at the artdirection and love that Metroid Prime has, there is no way The Conduit could match it. On technical side The Conduit is very good but it doesnt look that great in thermes of art. (I know, my english isn´t the best^^) So I do think this game will be fun to play, but nothing outstanding like Metroid-series. It will be solid, nothing more and nothing less. Maybe the sequel will hit the point of brillianz that the Wii and gamers deserve. ;-)

High voltage told IGN in an interview that the PAX version is a few weeks old and the updated the graphics (mostly lighting) updated the AI and updated the Multiplayer (no split-screen and MAYBE co-op play). They also said that they are no where near finished with the game so I have high hopes for it.

ragdoll physics is basically what was used last gen to sumulate a humanly reaction after a explosion, hit, ect. ragdoll physics basically produce a different reacion all the time, instead of scripted reactions, where as a character gets hit, fall and just lay there the same way each time they get hit. ragdoll provides a different kind of reaction each time. the only draw back was it wasn't really realistic looking. This gen its all about euphoria physics, which provides a realistic animation.

You're right, but everyone knows the Wii is not about looks, it's about gameplay.

Of course it's really nice to see a publisher pushing the hardware to produce a pleasant looking game (something that other developers are to lazy to do)

However, I'm more interested in playing this game and seeing how fun it is than in how pretty it looks.

A Wii game will never look as good as a PS3?360 game, but, if its done right, it can be a lot more entertaining -- especially a FPS.

it probably won't look better but I'm willing to bet it will play and handle better. Controls are supposed to be tight. And even if there not tight enough for your liking. Every aspect of the controls are customizable. Every where from button maping. to control sensitivity to even the size of the dead space box

(The Dead space box is an invisible box on the screen move the aimig retical outside the box to the left and your caracter will turn left. above to look up and so on and so forth.)
