@LittleJamesL i use water / dragon element weapons against the garuga, something like the plesioth crystasword or dragonslayer / eternal eradicator, but ice is just as effective. to me it looks like the armour he's using is the death stench / death stench S set

pretty awsome guide i reccomend capturing it tho, when its ears drop showing that its weak, trap it (pitfall, shock trap) then throw 2 tranq bombs. saves you a hek load of time and you get more iteams + better chance of rares. ik this is a guide to kill just thought iad say =D

It's the same as the Yian Kut Ku... I used the Chick Decapitator to kill it the first time, then improved the chick decapitator to the Sentoryu Raven... You get good weps at early stages with the Yian Kut Ku and Yian Garuga...

The Garuga is just a glorified Kut ku, not too hard. The only tricky one for me is Rajang G rank. And I use all the weapons including GS, makes for a good hunter.

Hey I noticed that you didnt cut off the tail. I always found that cutting of the tail, especially of the poisonous ones, made the battle much simpler. Is there like a specific reason that you didnt cut off the tail?

This is very... godly. I love it! I'm currently on this quest. I'm not good at GS at all, so I would never try this. =D Although, it was perfect, almost flawless, except for that bug! Grr! I tried killing him with longsword, but I just couldn't finish him off, I believe it was because I brought Devil Slicer, I'm going to try to get ESP or Sharpness, cause the main reason I couldn't kill him was cause most of my hits got reflected, not to mention the thunder resistance on him. I'll get him.
