Doug Flutie in 1994 rushed for 760 yards and I think 8 TDs,
He did all this while passing 5,726 yards with 48 TD passes.
Now that was in the CFL so it shouldn't count in your list but he sure was fun to watch.

if mike vick is on this list than it should not be called rushing QUATERBACKS because hes really not a qb all he does is run, all these people on the list can actually be called good quarterbacks. he just runs. John Elway should actually be on this list if you want to call it rushing qb's, even though he didn't have alot of yards, he threw the ball amazingly well (one of the best) and he could still run.

Randell Cunningham was known as a scrambler... plus Vick hasnt done enough to deserve #1, not like young, cunningham, or tarkenton... they made plays using their feet... sometimes vick could do that but not as well as they could, plus they could scramble behind the line, vick could only scramble past the line.

Yeah.... Young, Cunningham, and Tarkenton could keep the play alive behind the line which means use of blocks and awareness, Michael Vick was more of a reciever with a little bit more accuracy and a lot more power than the usual.

I know that, idiot. Randall was a great scrambler though, and a rusher. but better at scrambling. Vick just thought, oh I can run it for 5 yards instead of passing it to an open guy for 20 yards.

obviously you dont know, since randall cunningham wasnt even that much better of a passer than vick, cunnigham still had a completion perecent and rating barley higher than that of vick, vick even has a better touchdown to interception ratio and since this is a video for RUSHING quarerbacks rather than SCRAMBLING quaterbacks, Vick is superior to cunningham

Yeah but Cunningham could still SCRAMBLE... he just wasnt the best or the best at passing either... Randall and Steve are a lot better than Vick at rushing... only reason Vick got so many yards was cause he was really fast and would just out run all but the corners.

YOU CANT BE SERIOUS that steve young was a better rusher than Vick, randall is the closest thing, id rate kordell stewart up there too for rushing quarterbacks, but you seriously need to watch some fucking football dude, if you say steve young is better at running the ball than michael vick, even the stats prove vick is a better rusher than any other quarterback in history, and a decent passer

If Randall and Steve were as fast as Vick they would do the same thing, Vick takes advantage of his natural talents. Steve can't run nearly as fast so he has to be patient and wait for blocks. All Vick is doing is playing to his strengths.

cunningham played what 17years? he better have at least 30,000 yards, but his rating was only like 81 and his completion percentage was i think 56, barley higher than vicks

Steve Young is SO much better than Vick. and Cunningham is better than Vick, Vick is just fast, thats it, hes not good at breaking tackles, using blocks, he isnt patient, he just wants to get as many yards as he can instead of slowing down and waiting for a block, he sprints past it and gets tackled.

true, but the difference is that the quarterbacks on this list are known more as running quarterbacks for the yards they gain by running. Mcnabb runs to make more time for his receivers to get open.
