Throw a huge towel in the bottom of the tube when you bath him. They don't slip and feel much more comfortable and you won't need a lead to keep her steady. Then, just throw the towel in the wash. This way you can turn them around in the tub and they feel more secure.

What a wonderful and beautiful Dobermann you have!! Enjoy him as much as you can, time really flies. I have that too. Our Dobermann is almost 9 now and he's getting older and I so hate that... so make the best of your time with him!
