One thing I don't like is art class. It can't be graded because textbooks can't define art, art is in the eye of the beholder, what one finds crappy art another finds beautiful art.

I'm sorry to hear that you got fired. I just got a new part time job and I'm struggling to learn. I'm not stupid, it just takes me a long time to make all the different parts fit. I'm a library technician student(paraprofessional), I'm grateful for the job and they're nice people, it's just frustrating sometimes when I forget stuff. You'll be able to make a living from art, the quality of your work and your truly unique style will make it happen. All the best.

Boy, do I hear you! I was working a part-time bookkeeping job and it took me weeks to learn how to understand the contracts and get the payments scheduled properly. Even after doing this type of work for over 30 years...each business is different.

Got it all organized and scheduled and predictable. And then I wore a Halloween costume to work and people freaked out. Wasn't conservative enough for the clientele they said. LOLOLOL!

Oooohhh ... I like the mask! And when you were talking MJ I thought of that song he sang with McCartney ... ebony and ivory ... that is what the mask reminded me of:)

There was a falling out with McCartney and MJ because MJ purchased the rights to a bunch of Beatles songs a number of years back.  It was apparently a big blow up.
