D= In my honest opinion 4kids would have done a better job dubbing sailor moon that dic films did or cloverwave (the ppl that dubbed seasons s and super s). To think there were once companies that were worse than 4kids D=.
personally i'd rather see anouther company such as funimation or viz dub it. they would probably do a good job at it.
Sailor Moon was is a great series, despite the americans ruining it. (to tell you the trueth i would have rather 4kids had dubbed it). My only wish is that the series would have been redubbed. T_T prefably by someone other than dic films and someone willing to dubb sailor stars.

1.The anime was very well done, the animation was very ..animated, the transformations and what nots were very addictive and set a whole new level on magical girls anime alone. Even the dub and censoring couldnt hide some parts so yeah.
2.i don't get why people just mention or outline her nudity. I didn't see a prob. its to respent innocence, purity and goodness.(I know U said no prob. but you mentioned like 1000s of other fans)
And I defently can see the song from trans. also did that scene too

Great review! I loved how you put it together. The only bad thing that I found is that Yaten's name isn't pronounced yay-ten. In Japanese,

i=ee
u=oo
e=eh
o=oh
So Yaten's name should be pronounced "yah-ten". Also, that's how it's pronounced in the series, and there's not an english version pronunciation to go off of, so it makes me wonder why people would pronounce it that way. (Unless they try pronouncing it based on the English long a sound due to the following e) but great review ;D

IDK why so many people always bash the English version, like seriously it's not that bad. In my opinion I like both versions the English and the Japanese. I like the names Serena and Usagi. Sailor moon is by far the best anime series I have ever watched, Pokemon became really popular but Sailor moon has the substance to it more than any other anime.
but it was 200 of gold, i personally hope they don't make any more, it was great, but i don't want it to become one of those series that has gone past it's sell-by-date, like the simpsons.
I loved Sailor Moon as a kid. I watched for the first time last year the original Japanese version and it was great. I really hope that Funimation licenses Sailor Moon and releases it on DVD.
Oh and by the way I heard that Funimation might planned on releasing Sailor Moon, and I think that it will a hundred times better than D.I.C let just hope that it will.
Relax Dic brought us Might Max, Sonic and Captian Planet so I can forgive them for being such bastards. Besides I LEAST the music was decent but that was about it.

Sailor Moon is a kids show! It was certainly not aimed at teenagers in Japan.
Japanese and Americans just have a different opinion about what is and is not appropriate for children.
