  • very nice thanks

  • The inspiration for Diary of a Madman. Great job!!

  • very nice ...welldone i love this piece

  • Your interpretation has errors reading from the score! Review before publish your videos...

  • I JUST JIZZ MYSELF

  • I am glad Randy didn't play it note for note if he did use it.This is tiresome.

  • Diary of a Madman haha...O Randy Rhodes...great job man

  • @kickazz96 noooooooooooo not at all LEO BROUWER GET IT RIGHT.

  • Truly an excellent technique!

  • Great

Sounds like you changed some note

    My best BlueJazzyClassic

  • Fine playing sir. I also have an Admira Artista, but have been disspointed with the tone (maybe I need to get it set up again). Do you mind telling me what strings you use please?

    Thanks

  • I have this guitar too, and I found it really gets alive with some good (and expensive) strings. In my case it was a black Hannabach set (medium tension).

  • very cool... you play a very nice speed!!!

  • Fantastic performance. Hope you post more soon!!!

  • nice dude you had some nice wine man

  • I love this etude and I love this man.Thank you,i've done a good exam using you as a master.

    BYEEEE

  • Me too I've been an exam with that piece but I think he can play a bit faster and play with his nails for have a greatter sound. but good performance of course^^

  • moustatache;

Dead wrong; there's PLENTY of nail sound now and it doesn't need to go faster. Just needs more vibrato and could also be played very easily with variations.; backward arpeggio patterns, as a Samba, as block chords and with tremolo.

At the very least repeat it...it's so short.

  • in my own opinion when you play it faster mix sounds better, and off course vibrato embellsih the sound

  • (that last post was a translation you asked for on the oldest page)

  • bien joue:)r

  • bravo!

  • Secured arpeggio, mcbaldan.

  • there are some major issues as far as playing whats actually written goes. look over the last bars in 3/4 (16-19 possibly) to get them right. other than that pretty good job.

  • Place your left hand finger tips properly will help increase your technique in the future. Try to open your arm slightly.

  • really nice man!

  • bravo..

  • Where can I found these music or Etudes sheets? I have some guitar books, but none of them have Brouwer´s songs, they are kind off old...

A have the sheet of "a day in november", but I know it´s not completly right...so..

    Thanks!!

And, 5 star for the video...

  • DIARY OF A MADMAN!!!

  • This is type of song that you must play everyday 5-10 times. I started 3 weeks ago with it and for month i think im gonna play it like you on that video :) . I love to play that etude, its so relaxing and you can learn lot by training it :)

    My regards

    Martin

  • I wish i could play like you My friend

  • nice job... it's fun to focus on the afro cuban rhythms between p and a... also changing up the arpeggio (brouwer says to in the upper LH corner!)

this is a great piece to warm up a concert...

compare it to 'diary of a madman' by ozzy and randy rhoads :)

  • Glad to find your video. I play this too - a little slower, with more light and shade. But I thought you did a great job.

  • needler3, Thanks a lot for the comments. Honestly, among all my recordings, I put the least effort in this video. I know it can be played more delicately.

  • Very good job man.

  • Very nice, especially your phrasing.

  • Awesome Brower!!!

You should play "cancion de cuna" (cradle song) or "ojos brujos" (witching eyes).

Find and learn to play them

    Nico

  • Alright, I'll keep that in mind ;) Thank you. I really love Brouwer. Right now I am working on Un Dia de Noviembre (I know it's not typical Brouwer).

    Can

    Turkey

  • Que Groso Brower!!!

Deberias tocar "Cancion de Cuna" (BERCEUSE) ú "Ojos Brujos" (LES YEUX SORCIERS).

Pediselos a tu maestro y estudialos.

    Nico

    Argentina

  • Could you translate that to English please?

  • Brower rocks!!

You should play "Cancion de Cuna" (BERCEUSE) or "Ojos Brujos" (LES YEUX SORCIERS).

Ask those to your teacher and study them.

    Nico

  • (this is a translation you asked for on the first page)

  • i play it too! take a look on my video, the sad thing is that my cam only can take 15 seconds :(
