No, it was written in norvegian. It's a piece from the music written by Grieg for Ibsen's drama"Peer Gynt".It's a long story, too long to be synthetized in few words.
This Solveigs song, is absolutely Amazing!!, i Was confused, i though this was mor aases død!., - This However, Should be the National Anthem of Norway!!!!!., I for one; Piss all over "ja, vi elsker",
Very funny thing. When I was in Istanbul Turkey, they had these propane delivery trucks there that plays a song to let people know they can come out and fill up their propane tanks, and one company used Solveigs song as their tune. Very strange to hear something so familiar in such an exotic (to a norwegian) place.
'Solveig's Song' comes from a collection of music written by Edvard Grieg, - 'incidental music' - intended to accompany a very long play written by Norwegian playwright Henryk Ibsen called 'Peer Gynt'. The play takes it's name from the central character, and another of the characters is called Solveig. The best bits from this large composition were arranged by Grieg into two orchestral suites. Solveig's song belongs to the 2nd Peer Gynt Suite. The conductor in this video is myself !
That's true. I don't know why she liked Peer there's nothing about him that would inspire that type of love. But her love is immortal and his absense probably helped.
No, not me, Iàm Duch like your self, do have members of the famely living along the southcoast of Norway,Where was it your Mother was born in Norge...You`re young, it will be easy to lurn the language, travel over there and you`ll see that it issent that difficult, you eaven take the change to establish over there. Take your change, it`s worth it.
You`re so young, you live in such a great country, why send so much nagativety out in to the world by saying, it`s just a Dutchie,What would you write about your self, and send it into the world, Iàm looking forward to your wise words, "are you wise"God nyt ar with a little o up on the A.

(reply to richtomes): Partly (my entire vocabulary coming from _Peer Gynt_, the play). "No, I cannot; thou shalt (inescapably) learn Norwegian; thou shalt [reise] (travel?) to Norway and learn Norwegian; thanks (due to?), for/on account of [sist] (because I say so?)(so you can talk?). It's a bittersweet song...about a woman waiting for her love. I love it...this is beautiful and I can sing along with it awesome! (Will be going to University for Classical (vocal) training)
In the play Solveig is one of the most wonderful of all women. That's my opinion. One can but long for such a woman, when one hears Grieg's music.

questa orchestra ( o forse sarebbe meglio dire questa direzione d'orchestra) ha uno stile esecutivo troppo perentorio, inadatto a questa musica.
