I had no idea that there was bonus material, i wish it had been added in the original film too. have been watching Gary Shaw and John Stockwell, talking about their views on the assassination, here on youtube, fascinating stuff. The programme they were on, was called Alternative View. i'm british, and had never heard of the show before, but i am thankful now i've seen it here. Youtube rules
Col Robert E Jones told the HSCA that he ordered 8-12 plain clothes intelligence agents to Dealey Plaza on 11-22-63.One of those agents,James Powell was found inside the TSBD after the shooting.
stone should've had more scenes like this and less of the dramatic 'work affecting family life' hollywood cliche.. i mean: considering the gravity of a president's murder - who gives a fuck if garrison had the odd fight with his missus?!
There were 4 gunmen Oswald never fired a shot, Jackie knew who they were, everyone in government knows who they were, the story is almost out, Its still being covered up so what does that tell you. My retired senators says everyone knows but will not talk.

You call this an alternate ending but would it really have come at the end or would it have replaced the Mr. X scene we all know and love? By the way, isn't it amazing how different Mr. X looks in this one (more modern, less formal, less mysterious)? It's always so much fun to see alternate or deleted scenes!
LOL Yeah, in fact, he looks a lot like... Donald Sutherland in regular 90s-style clothes!!! This must have been a practice take or something like that. DUH, I know, give me the night to mull it over and I can figure out anything!!! :-D
There's all kinds of ways that this can be explained. The shots people heard coming from the knoll could have been echoes. It is possible that Conally and JFK were perfectly lined up and that Oswald was a marksman and did the assassination, but it just seems too good to be true. Even then, why all the cover up and mystery? It only makes sense there is some gov't involvement.
There are also several differing theories as to if Oswald got off three shots in 6 sec or 8 sec. It's possible he did the assassination, but if you do that you're assuming alot of things such as the perfect lineup of the shots. Also, you're ignoring the testimony of several people who heard shots from the grassy knoll. It is possible Oswald and other CIA guys were all involved and Oswald wasn't supposed to be framed, he just got caught. They think he's gonna talk. Ruby kills him.
My theory is that it started when Kennedy wanted to pass Executive Order 11110. Look it up. Right there the Federal Reserve, and World Bank have motivation. He pissed off the CIA with the Bay of Pigs. Plus he was having an affair with the wives of a couple of CIA guys. Plus he didn't want to go into Vietnam which pissed off more ppl. Right there you have it. Motive. CIA killed him.
Yes. He changed things. He "changed" many Cubans and Vietnamese from lively people into corpses. He almost launched this world into a nuclear war over something the United States has been doing since the mid-40s.
Then again, there is no objective defintion of it anyway. The extreme right have their defintion, as so does the extreme left. So it's a meaningless concept.
I'm not into conspiracy theories. They're pseuto-intellectual.
It's a mercantilist-protectionist government, which is what creates a plutocracy, or oligarchy. I don't know what this has to do with the Kennedy assassination, or his decision to stay in Vietnam though. Kennedy represented the establishment and even put a more humanitarian face to it.
@Muzikhead993 I myself believe, Its more or less the way this film tells it, pretty damn accurate to what the truth could very much be. I seriously doubt one man, could assassinate a president, alone completely by himself?? No way man, not even in those times, security is tight, and its only ever gonna be loosened for "a reason."
so, it's JFK's fault that previous administrations had set forth these unsavory
foreign policies ? (and when i say "administrations" that doesn't always include the previous presidents themselves). i'm talking "intelligence" agencies...OSS, CIA...etc.
Most of this stuff is in his speech though.

@ 1:00 clip, they knew Kennedy was not going to go to war in Southeast Asia.
Also they knew Kennedy was going to change things.
I wondered really, why was he assassinated.
aldeb456 3 years ago
What X (Sutherland) said regarding that is pure, fantastical bullshit.
Kennedy wasn't pulling out, and escalated the war and wasn't pulling out.
It was a great scene though.
AntonBatey 3 years ago
So I guess it was Oliver Stone's bias. It was a great scene though.
Then the question becomes, did Kennedy really change things? Is that why he was really assassinated? hum
aldeb456 3 years ago
Yes. He changed things. He "changed" many Cubans and Vietnamese from lively people into corpses. He almost launched this world into a nuclear war over something the United States has been doing since the mid-40s.

Sure. I actually did in a video I made called "JFK and Vietnam".

well, i suppose we will just have to agree to disagree then, because you apparently have
