Children are learning English by memorising words and they understand what the words mean by asking questions and observation. They can't read and write but they can speak very good English. I think what Chris is trying to show is that you do not need to be good at gramma to be able to speak English well. the most important thing is to observe and ask questions like children do. Then you will be good at it.

เบื่อมากค่ะ ที่ต้องมานั่งฟังนั่งเรียนภาษาอ­ังกฤษ ทำราวกับว่าโลกนี้มีแค่ภาษานี้ภ­าษาเดียว ภาษาอื่นๆมีอีกมากมาย ทั้งๆที่ชาติเขาก็ไม่ได้โปรโมทม­ากมาย เท่ากับอังกฤษหรืออเมริกา ว่าแต่ภาษาแม่พูดอ่านเขียนถูกต้­องแล้วหรอคะ

Yes, you right but just a half, the way to communitcation have more than that and the important for communitcation is understand, he tried to teach english easy way and the people can understand. You should open mind.

Sorry to say.....to be fluent in English, or any language, you need to be able to use the language correctly and then you become fluent in that language.

He is incorrect......with the word yesterday that is past tense...so the correct sentence is " Yesterday I WENT to the mall and SAW a movie and I ATE dinner" . For present tense you would say......" TODAY I will go to the mall and see a movie and I will eat dinner" ...My native language is English and I have been speaking it for 54 years and living in america.

@sminchel sorry to say. He just wanted to emphasise that we, ones using English as a second language, should concentrate more on fluency rather than the correctness, that's the point. ^.^

His English is very good. The accent you hear is Thai, and when he is switching from Thai accent and inserting English words for emphasis.

I do not think this guy is good at English at all considering his father is English. I would expect him to speak English better with a lot less accent.
