Jaime is such an interesting character! I haven't read more than the first book, but I'm very excited of what he will become in the future books. His portrayal in the series is very accurate, perhaps more lively, even. Though I hate him when Cersei's around, he's a very amazing character, portrayed well in this video, especially the beginning.

I totally agree with your description notes, I think this is a good thing about GOT, that you can't totally hate a character(except Joffrey, who is an ASS) and it feels weird, but I don't hate Jaime or some other characters sometimes
