I wish to join, dear compatriots, your sweet memories. I saw this marvelous the late GD's production in the "Bara Toti"'s cinema hall with other five colleagues - alas I have lost 3 of them in the mists of Time - only 2 of them remained!
As a five-year old ,I was hypnotised by that titillating tune frequently coming over our GE radio.I think it was 1956 or so. This song used to be heard in the old (Mysore Medical College) venue of Dasara Exhibitions( where Russian Rocket Puliyogare was an attraction) Even now the same mood of happy childhood comes back after half a century when I hear this song.
