Yea, drive a smaller car, recycle, drive a bike, buy local foods, turn off lights, there are a ton of different ways to lower "greenhouse gasses". I do think its an important issue. Its just annoying people who camp in trees that get cut down anyway aren't really doing shit. I drive a car that gets 30 mpg and do stuff that helps lower "GH" gasses, and I care about the environment.

Old growth forests harbor great biodiversity, communities of plants found nowhere else on earth. They are a rich source of fungi, which are crucial in medicine development. To cut this down is to burn the biological capital of the land.

Trees for paper come from paper farm plantations. Not redwood forests. These redwoods probably went to make fancy, aesthetically pleating expensive products. A fucking shame.
