@leaderstragg In real life the "rifle" is really a pistol-caliber carbine that is rather short-ranged. Thanks to the fact that no one wears body armour in this game, and that ballistic drop for bullets does not exist in this game's physics engine, it has infinite range and good stopping power.
@leaderstragg The game claims that "FMJ bullets have the best penetration," but sadly all ammunition types penetrate barriers the same way. Realistically speaking, the Dum-Dum and Cyanide-tipped bullets should have a hard time getting past body armour or thin barriers. No one wears body armour, or else those bullet types would be less useful against those NPCs.
I thought that Rifle wasn't supposed to be very powerful! it seems to work just fine IMO!
