  • Brain-Pad guards really work. If your jaw is kept from hitting your TMJ sockets, the energy from the blow does not get up under your brain. Plus the front teeth are covered and they don't cut into your lips. Keeping the jaw secure against the pull of any helmet chin cup really keeps football players safer too. Helmets are great but they force the jaw back. A Brain-Pad makes a helmet work way better !

  • I have a brainPad mouthguard, but they make a ton of em. I have no idea wich one this is.

I got it for MMA, and ive only "tested it" with boxing gloves.

but i had my freind blast me, and i guess it works...cause i lost no teeth, but of course its going to rattle you a bit.

my tonhgue was a little bit sore, but no lip cuts or lost teeth.

    id give it a 8/10

  • I've heard of this thing, but I'm a little skeptical about it. Has anyone ever had experience with this product?

Does it really reduce the chances of getting a severe concussion?

  • i had my mouth guard custome made at a lab and it helps ALOT for not geting a concussion....alot more then the but in hot water and bit kinds that fall out of your mouth alot

  • There is no clinical data to support any mouthguard preventing or reducing a concussion. Any claims of this nature are purely anecdotal. If someone should receive a concussion while wearing a mouthguard I expect that the company could not produce any evidence to defend itself in a potential lawsuit.
